Filled With Awe and Thankfulness

You, dear readers gave me such a tremendous and heartfelt response to our professional images I am filled with awe and thankfulness. Thursday when I posted the images it was my birthday, where I turned half a century, as has been discussed til I am nearly adjusted to it by now. You are the best readers and if I could hug you all and send you a  pink hydrangea I would.

I am drying some pink blossoms from the Costco hydrangea we bought last month.
It is now blooming again.

My friend and neighbor Fancy gave me these little butter dishes yesterday. They are darling and I can put one at each end of the table when I have several guests for dinner.
Which would be every odd Tuesday when the moon is full.

♣♣♣

The yellow house will be swimming with little guests for the next three weeks. Next Saturday we are having a neighborhood garage sale at Fancy's. We have a blast each year when we have a sale at her house and de-clutter at the same time. Bob and Sue, my brother in law and sister in law are joining our sale and so are some friends from near our old house.
Fancy is so kind to let all of us descend upon her yard and house.

joy and peace

  4. I never thought I could say this, but if I ever coveted anything, it's the precious butter dishes. From someone who's twenty years older, you'll like my fifty year old story. My daughter said, "Mom, if you're fifty, do you know how old that makes me!" Yes, I did. Twenty eight. Boo hoo.

  11. Happy Birthday Olive! I'm celebrating mine today. My hubby planned a wonderful birthday weekend for me in PA and most of my time was spent shopping at Antiques and Collectibles shops. Enjoy your day, Gail
