Pottery Barn Outlet was brimming with Easter items this visit. You could not walk for tripping over a cotton pickin rabbit. I saw not one cross. The Eiffel Tower pillow cover was pretty and selling fast.
A slip covered Carlise sofa was priced for $999.00. Two thoughts kept me from taking it home. I was not driving the truck and I cannot spare that amount of money right now. But still, what a fabulous price. I will be quiet now for this photo heavy post. All images taken with my iPhone. Technically they do not allow photos. I misbehave for you my darling readers.
I bought two Turkish hand towels for $1.97 each, on clearance, and one other small item. Walking out of there for less than twenty dollars was not bad at all.
Shelley and I are traveling to our yellow house today.
We plan to take long walks and do some tall thinking.
Olive
Wow, I could go crazy there! I love the lamp shade!!! Your phone took great picture...

This looks like so much fun, and I admire your restraint! That sofa is definitely a steal. I'm glad you had a good time!

I'm glad you shared these photos today. It was like I was shopping there without having to leave the comfort of my home. As you know, today is a cold wet mess outside! Yuck! I haven't been to that outlet in such a long time. It was fun seeing pics of it. They do have some good prices, don't they? I didn't know they don't allow you to take pictures. That's so silly. I hate when people make those rules. You're actually doing them a favor by advertising for them! Glad you snuck some pics anyway. I would've done it too. (It's the rebel in me.)
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous of those of you with a PB outlet!
ReplyDeleteYou have me drooling..oh I love the Paris pillow too! That lampshade was pretty cool. But am loving all the easter decorations.
ReplyDeleteI love that lamp shade
ReplyDeleteI wish I lived in a larger town where we had a pottery barn ( I'm whining)
love the bunny tea towels, please don't go to jail on account of us!
ReplyDeleteWell done on having such willpower Olive !!!! I think that I might have spent a bit more than that !! Gorgeous Spring things ...... I love the white cushion with the big button. XXXX
ReplyDeleteThat was a nice tour, since we don't have a Pottery Barn near our home.
ReplyDeleteI love all of the pretty pillows and that lamp is fabulous! We don't have one of these stores close by either! I think I'll look online! Enjoy your week and you walks!
ReplyDeleteI can now add one more reason why I like you. You are such a little rebel-rouser walking on the wild side with your phone! Gosh, I wish I hadn't seen the photo of the lamp shade though. I want it...bad. Btw...I have a roll of the Eiffel Tower fabric, but I can't bring myself to cut it. Silly me!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time with your baby girl. Walk softly, talk softer, but laugh loudly.
XO
Deb
I have never been to a Pottery Barn Outlet. How fun to find some good deals. You did great with only spending a small amount of money. Good for you!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the yellow chicks! We don't have an outlet anywhere in this state.
ReplyDeleteBrenda
Olive I enjoyed that lil "window" shopping trip. Thank you for sharing. Needed to think "Spring" with the winter blah's still lingering around. Thanks Nest in peace...Karen at acapecodnest.
ReplyDeleteSuch eye candy. I sure wish I had a Pottery Barn outlet near me. I love the Eiffel Tower pillow!
ReplyDeleteOlive I can't believe you didn't snatch up that GoReOuS RED FLOWER LAMP SHADE!!!
ReplyDeleteHope your heart is mending while you spend time at the Yellow House...
Warm Hugs - Jeanine Burkhardt
Thanks for misbehaving, Olive, so we could share in all the eye candy!!

Wow! We have Pottery Barn here...but no outlets...are the prices better? I always look...but rarely buy anything...thanks for being naughty...I loved all the pictures! Have a great day!!
ReplyDeleteLove the lamp shade...
ReplyDeleteI love all the bunnies. I need me some bunnies. Wish I had a Pottery Barn Outlet around here. I never venture into the mall to go to Pottery Barn...since I know I can't afford it . Loved that lampshade.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you took the opportunity to get out and look at beautiful things. Beauty can be such a balm to your spirits.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun visit, I love the chick egg cups:@)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely HAVE to go to the outlet...but I know I'd find lots to "drool over", and not want to spend the money. Thanks for taking us on a virtual shopping trip with you..lots of pretty things to see and no money spent. :) I'm so ready for Spring. My forsythia is blooming, but pitifully.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the yellow chickies!! I'm assuming they are made for eggs?? Hard boiled eggs like they serve in Europe!
DeleteLove all the pics, we don't have a PB near me so I have to see what is available on line. So great you got to spend some time snapping illegal photos there. LOL
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking me on a trip to a PB outlet because I have never been to one. It's on my list of things to do since there is one in our state. I see a road trip in my future!
ReplyDeleteVery well composed hidden camera shots. Mine would have been all lopsided.
ReplyDeleteLove all of our covert photos! Beautiful finds.
ReplyDeleteOh, darn. Now I have to drive down to the outlet to buy a bunny towel! That Paris pillow is pretty cute too. Thanks for pre-shopping for me!
ReplyDeleteSecret Agent Olive - thanks for using the spy cam for us to take the tour with you. I have never been in a PB. Where is this outlet? The photos make me want to venture out from my regular thrifting places. I love the chick.
ReplyDeleteI WANT a Pottery Barn Outlet!!! So jealous. What fabulous things you saw!
ReplyDeleteWe have a PB near us but I wish we had an outlet! I LOVE that lampshade and those sweet bunny napkins!
ReplyDeleteHi Olive! I found your blog via Savvy Southern Style. Your "Hold Everything Lightly" tab caught my eye and I just read every one of those posts. It's not often these days that I sit at the computer and read so much on one blog! Thank you so much for sharing your story. I appreciate your honesty and courage.
ReplyDeleteWhoops! I posted on Babs!!
ReplyDeleteAnyway - I commented that I loved the yellow chickies. They made me think of Europe with hard boiled eggs! I love outlets!!
I love their Spring and Easter items. I've been putting the catalogs right in the recycling though. Don't need the temptation! You have reminded me that I bought a rabbit candle and holder from the outlet last year that I need to get out.
ReplyDeleteWe have a PB outlet on the way up to our cottage. I can always find something I want to take home! Thanks for stopping by, Laura
ReplyDeleteHi Olive. What sumptous photos for us today, of such lovely things. I loved the little yellow chicks! I can't believe that Easter is only a matter of weeks ago. It just needs to warm up quite a lot over here. Brrrrr! Hope you're doing okay my friend.
ReplyDeleteWhere is a Pottery Barn outlet? I would love to visit one.....
ReplyDeleteLove it all! I am afraid I would not be able to get out of there for less than $20! Oh my.
ReplyDeleteEvery time I find a nifty piece of furniture at an irresistible price, the truck is sitting at home. Hmmm, maybe that's a good thing.
what is "tall thinking"? i love the paris pillow & the yellow birdies so cute!! great trip. ( :
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to go to a Pottery Barn Outlet! What fun!
ReplyDeleteI would love a PB outlet....cuz, otherwise...too pricey for me. That looks like a fantastic store and lots of fun!
ReplyDeleteI wish I have a PB Outlet close by!
ReplyDeleteOh man. I love way too far away from civilization!!! It's probably a good thing though, because I spend enough money as it is!! I want that Eiffel Tower pillow!!
ReplyDeleteKaren
Olive, I wish there was a PB outlet near us. The little chicks are adorable. xx, Sherry
ReplyDeleteThank you for a great post! I know what you mean about the rabbits and no crosses, and if you WANT something with a Christian motif, it doesn't exist! Even Hobby Lobby with their profession of faith is only jambpacked with rabbits and other cutesy stuff....bah humbug....
ReplyDeleteOkay, I will be nice for the rest of the day :^)
Blessings to you for caring!!
