Estate Sale Finds Arranged



The little metal flower arrangement I bought at the estate sale, noted in the previous post, was placed on the round coffee table just for giggles.


I like it there.
I paid .33 cents for the little flowers.

These photos were not planned and you will see why. Newspaper hanging out and a....


cat {Clovis} there on the left soaking up a sun beam. I had to move fast but quietly to not alarm him.


The wire basket behind him is vintage and a recent purchase from an estate sale also.


I bought two of these large green wire baskets.
  Clovis is squinting...bless him.

Now I am off to place many other items on consignment. Yes, I have crossed the line and I sell my junk finds now. It was bound to happen. I cannot keep all these things I find.

    Morning girl...I haven't seen metal flowers in years and they look so cute there...love that pretty furbaby...I had one just like him years ago..those vintage baskets are treasures for sure! hey I have a question for you...is that a Lady Banks rose in your header pic? I had one years ago and I am thinking of getting another one for the back yard...I had forgotten how beautiful they are...Have a great Thursday sweetie...Picket

    Clovis looks as if he's really enjoying it in that warm sunshine. Those little metal flowers look really good on the coffee table. Your room looks to have some gorgeous things in it.

    Oh, Clovis looks so much like my cat Bomber I had growing up!!

    I love the wire baskets...my color green! the metal flowers look funky, would love to have them for my garden cottage!

    Clovis looks so warm there. I'm surprised he hasn't claimed the basket yet. You know, you can only buy stuff for so long before you are labeled a hoarder. And then you have to find new homes for your stuff. I've been thinking of doing the same thing with my stash!

    Picket-yes that is a Lady banks rose on an old building attached to our old house. Those roses grow like crazy and I forgot to prune it.

    Oh you are brave! I have thought of selling my over-stock of stuff, but don't have the nerve. I feel like a potential hooker who is afraid she'd go on the streets.... and starve to death.

    Those are old egg baskets you have! I have one that belonged to my mom from when she had a small chicken farm in the late 30s. And I love the tin flowers; how adorable.

    Your "as is" table looks mighty good to me. Mine has this morning's coffee mug still on it!

    Hiring painters is weird, but there's no way we can do it ourselves; the house is 130 miles away, big, with two story walls upstairs. No time, and certainly not enough energy!

    And we're dividing the expenses 4 ways, among the siblings, so not as painful as it might otherwise be!

    I'm loving those green wire baskets!! I bought one at the Macon Historical Society sale...have dried hydrangeas in it...mine is not a pretty green though, it is a rusty rust:-) I also love Clovis!

    I love my Pottery Barn outlet finds...you are so lucky to live close to one...i always go to the one in texas when i visit my son and daughter in law....living in Illinois our closest is in Ohio...but i have never been to that one.....

    Clovis looks terrific. I see he has a "target" on his side. That makes him not only Clovis, but a Classic. Red. Tabby. They are very important, doncha know?
