Fireworks On The Savannah

Fireworks
Launched off the Fifth Street Bridge, over the Savannah River, entering Augusta, Georgia is a Fourth of July tradition.

Our daughter captured some of the display with her camera.

These kind of look like something under a microscope in  microbiology class!

She took some wonderful shots. We had so much fun at the fireworks show and so did the other ten thousand souls who were there!
Happy Fourth of July

We know freedom is not free and we thank all those in the military past and present. God bless you all for your service to our country.

  6. Hi Olive. Those were some great shots of the fireworks that your daughter captured for us to see! I so agree with you that we should be thankful for all the servicemen and women who put their lives at risks for the safety of their countries. Wishing you and your little family a very happy 4th July!

  12. Beautiful photos! I love watching fireworks. We live in a small town with a big 4th of July celebration. We like to go to the end of our road that is high on a hill and watch the spectacular fireworks. One of my favorite things to do! I LOVE Savannah! from Augusta to Charleston..just beautiful

  13. Actually I thought the first shot looked like creamy colored Chrysanthemums or some other flower of that type.

  18. Great shots! I am totally challenged in taking fireworks photos. I took probably 60 shots and I think there is one that maybe is keepable.
