Curvy road.
The crepe myrtles in our yard continue to show off and we have decided they have never looked this good before.
I realize I am jumping from fall to Christmas but I have made a commitment, to myself, to post photos in real time as often as I can. So if you are dizzy from this I certainly am too.
Take in beauty where you find it whenever you find it.
may joy and peace surround you
Olive
I try my best to post in real time too... I generally make that happen at least within a couple of days of the time I took the pics... I mean, who wants to see old stuff, right? LOL
ReplyDeleteBeautiful autumn photos my friend, and the colours are stunning.
ReplyDeleteOur crepe myrtles are vibrant this year, too. So much color this fall.
ReplyDeleteWe don't grow crepe myrtles up here, so I have to enjoy yours! Beautiful! That road is awesome and the colors just spectacular. I love this season!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
Hi Olive, I love your curvy winding road... and your trees are so pretty!... I would be happy to send you some of our snow about now, and take some of your sunshine and beautiful Autumn weather... xoxo Julie Marie
ReplyDeleteWonderful color and I love the curvy roads. Living where we do, it is a good thing we do love curvy roads.
ReplyDeleteI seldom post in real time as I have drafts about a week in advance. I just can't seem to do it everyday in real time...I try to date my posts..
ReplyDeleteYour photos are breathtaking....
xo
Gorgeous colors in your crape myrtle-enjoy:@)
ReplyDeleteIf I don't post my photos within a few days, then I forgot about them and they never see the light of day. Your crepe is gorgeous.

ReplyDeleteNow why do my Crape Myrtles not do this? We go from beautiful green, to awesome blossoms to brown and then sticks. We are almost to stick stage... The only explanation? It's Florida! We are a little different here. Love how your turn color, Olive, so pretty and autumn-ish. Ann
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures...I post in real time too!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fall pictures..I agree we need to savour the moment. Time passes so quickly..I love the road..and you cant miss the bright yellow center lines..
ReplyDeleteOlive,
ReplyDeleteLove the winding road, nothing better then fall colors! Our leaves here are falling fast and won't be lasting much longer, kind of sad, it's gone by so fast! Can't believe TK is the week after next!
Rebecca
Your crepe myrtle tree is definitely a show stopper! We have enjoyed ours this year too. This is the time of year when I see a mix of decorating going on. Some of my neighbors decorate for Christmas before Thanksgiving so we have Fall and Christmas decor all around. Now, that's confusing! Ha!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh Olive, the color of your landscape there is gorgeous in the Fall! We rarely get that here in my part of Idaho because of the cold, so what a treat this was.
ReplyDeletehugs from here...
It looks to me that the beautiful road leads to some peaceful and happy place. So pretty. I love the last picture. The nature's beauty is so breathtaking.
ReplyDeleteTake me home country roads...to the place where I come from...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful color.
Aren't they beautiful?
ReplyDeleteHope your weekend
was full of fall goodness!
xx Suzanne
