Flowers: Best Images 2013

I grew all the flowers photographed here except for the little impatients in the last image.
The images are in no particular order but represent my favorites for the year.

Happy New Year

  3. Love your flowers Olive! It's nice to see flowers instead of all the snow. Even though you didn't grow the impatients I love them in the old coffee pot.

  17. Love looking at your flower photography. The garden path is my favorite after the turquoise kettle. I wish now I had put in some pansies to cheer me up during this dreary weather we are having.

  18. They are all gorgeous! I love your path, too. It was nice to see your flowers ~ we are getting more snow overnight tonight and into tomorrow with freezing and below temps. These pictures are the hope of what is to come in a few months!

  19. Hi Olive, I'm visiting today from Lynne's http://irishgardenhouse.blogspot.ca/ and wondering about this bulb being mailed in the cold weather and the story behind it. Your pictures are all so beautiful, I especially like the old blue kettle used as a planter. I remember having a cracked tea cup in the tea room and used it as a planter for a wee little violet and a lady was upset that I had used a tea cup that way, I'm thinking your pot might have tossed her over the edge, still think it is amazing. love the wreathe planter as well.
