Poppytrail Daisy

We are looking for this Metlox Poppytrail Daisy pattern.
A happy dinnerware pattern my friend Beth is enthralled with.
I am usually the china/transferware freak.
For her to fall heavily for this pattern I thought I might put out a call for assistance.

Poppytrail Daisy was released in 1964.
If any of you have a few pieces you may want to sell for a reasonable please let us know.
She has 6 salad plates and the gravy bowl.

Thanks bunches
Olive

  1. Hello Olive,

Alas, we can be of no help whatsoever. However, this design is most appealing, very fresh and quite springlike.

  2. I've never seen this pattern, but how pretty and fresh it looks! Good luck finding pieces. I love a good antique themed challenge!

  3. I like this pattern too! But alas, I don't have any of these. I know Susan at Between Naps on the Porch has a pretty good collection of these.
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia;)

  6. I don't remember seeing this at the thrift store but they have hundreds of dishes and I will dig through them and see if I can find any. I saw an old pattern that my mother had this past week and was tempted. Love these pretty daisies! Hugs!

  7. Wow, those are beautiful! I can definitely understand the attraction. They would cheer up any table. Sorry, but have never even seen the pattern before. But it's lovely.

  8. I grew up with the sculptured zinnia pattern my mother loved. I will look out for these, but they do not stay for long anywhere around here. It is a popular pattern.

    Now I want them :>))

  9. Those are very festive! Reminds me of my sister's wedding in the 70's where her whole theme was daisies. I even had daisies on my junior bridesmaids dress. Unfortunately she did not have matching plates though.

  13. I have the Metlox strawberry pattern, which belonged to my grandmother, and my brother inherited the grape pattern which belonged to my mother. I love their dishware, it brings back such fond memories for me! I will keep an eye out for your friend for the daisy pattern.

  15. Hi, Olive, I just found your blog from the "Must Love Junk" blog. I have a quite a bit of this pattern sitting in my storage area in my house. I only have one platter listed at my Etsy shop, but I have more pieces available (most in great shape). Here's the link to the platter https://www.etsy.com/listing/155089725/metlox-sculptured-daisy-platter-vintage?ref=shop_home_active_1&ga_search_query=metlox. You can send me an email at ameliesfarmhouse@yahoo.com if you would like me to send pics/prices of other pieces. Also, send your zip code as well and I can do a better shipping estimate. Oh, and I love your blog!

  16. I noticed the link doesn't work. Just to go to www.ameliesfarmhouse.etsy.com and do a search within my shop for Metlox or click on the 'China and Pottery' section to the left of the page.

    Cheers!
