The One That Got Away And The One I Got

I was looking over a vintage metal lamp in a window of a consignment store one day and another customer plucked it right out of the window and bought it! Huh. It was a yummy yellow and would have been perfect in our den.

So I waited and looked and looked.
♣♣♣

Six months later I went to an estate sale and found the same lamp, in white, for five dollars.  Sixty dollars cheaper than the other one.

It's on the massive bar right now. The problem bar that is far too large. It could use some height and this lamp provides that.

The bar  goes on and on...

A new oil painting from a garage sale and a piece of cut glass from an estate sale.

  4. Oh great finds as always. You just seem to stumble upon great stuff. California stinks that way. No one here owns anything old. Just use and toss every few years must be the motto here.
