The milk glass and cloches have not changed one iota on our three drawer chest.
The much beloved pineapple lamp stays in it's place as well.

Brightly colored ornaments were added.
Plus a live plant in an urn and a vintage bottle brush tree.

I keep teasing with this tree.
I did not show it last year.
I will this year.
Pinky swear.
I have not tired of the cloches and milk glass urns yet.
They are terribly easy to jazz up or down.
Saturday at the consignment shop was fun. I was running the cash register, much to my dismay but no disasters occurred that I am aware of yet. They asked me to do a live advertising spot on the radio and I said I can only learn one new skill a day and that was not the skill for the day.
Live radio? Dear Lord.

Your cloches are beautiful! Isn't is nice just the leave them and change out what's under! The colored ornaments are lovely! I can see a hint of a Christmas tree too!
ReplyDeleteLove the brightly colored ornaments added. Just the right touch.
ReplyDeleteI still love that lamp. I have a milk glass urn like the one on the right (with the two small ornaments) that I picked up for my MIL. She is all about milk glass and devious person that I am, I have no problem giving it to her as one day it will probably all come back go me.
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to share interests with those you gift. :)
Your cloche vignette looks so pretty on that gorgeous antique chest! You must share your tree too. It looks like it is very pretty. I've never heard of someone having to do a live radio announcement like that (other than a DJ). I don't blame you for being nervous!
ReplyDeletegreat idea combining milk glass, glass cloche and the colorful ornament- it is a keeper!
