The bird images of 2011 were all taken in the garden of the yellow house.
They bring us much joy.
The hummingbirds steal the show, I realize, but all the birds are beautiful, special, and welcomed by us. Taking photos of the hummers builds character by the way, so if you need some more character just wait out some hummers and start snapping.

My husband and I love watching our pair of cardinals all year. We wait with such anticipation for our hummingbirds to come back, love watching them.

Your pictures of the little creatures are beautiful! My husband is a huge bird watcher and is always putting some kind of feeder out to attract them!
