Take a Look at This Chandelier

One hundred and one degrees on our deck yesterday at the yellow house. This heat seems to be relentless.

This chandelier, in a store front in Edgefield, South Carolina illustrates the situation perfectly.

  6. LOL! That feels about right. I have a little lantern outside and foolishly left a candle in it. Now it is all a drippy mess!

  8. Thanks for the laugh. Reminds me of my house. I just realized yesterday that I left a candle in my lantern on my front porch. And instead of being tall & regal, it is now short & fat. Plus the candlesticks inside my house are starting to fall over just like your photo. I hate the heat. But at least in SoCal we don't get a lot of humidity. Heat plus humidity I hate.

  13. Oh, that's too funny! Thank goodness we're having a temperate summer here on the west coast of Canada. I, too, droop in the heat!

Thanks so much for the birthday greetings...nice of you to stop by. Now that I'm here, I'll have a look around. Try to stay cool!
