One hundred and one degrees on our deck yesterday at the yellow house. This heat seems to be relentless.
This chandelier, in a store front in Edgefield, South Carolina illustrates the situation perfectly.

Wow, it is really hot if those candles did that inside the window!!
ReplyDeleteIt's so hot here also, I feel just like those candles. Can't wait for fall!!! Love that photo!

Yep, I would say that is HOT! Wow, it hasn't reached that high around here, but it's bad enough in the 90's.
ReplyDeleteThis made me laugh!
ReplyDeleteI feel wilted too1
Thank you Miss Olive-

LOL! That feels about right. I have a little lantern outside and foolishly left a candle in it. Now it is all a drippy mess!
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh ahhaha that is so funny!! well, i mean sorry it was so hot but wow. hahaha! love it!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the laugh. Reminds me of my house. I just realized yesterday that I left a candle in my lantern on my front porch. And instead of being tall & regal, it is now short & fat. Plus the candlesticks inside my house are starting to fall over just like your photo. I hate the heat. But at least in SoCal we don't get a lot of humidity. Heat plus humidity I hate.
ReplyDeleteOh Olive, that is something else! Sometimes I feel like that too!
ReplyDeleteLove your posts and love dropping in to see you!
Nancy
Too funny; that's exactly the way I feel when I've been outside for a bit. :D
ReplyDeleteJan
Perfect photo...feels like that in Illinois too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit:)
Well that took me a minute....lol....they would be liquid wax around here, it is so hot!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, that's too funny! Thank goodness we're having a temperate summer here on the west coast of Canada. I, too, droop in the heat!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the birthday greetings...nice of you to stop by. Now that I'm here, I'll have a look around. Try to stay cool!

Bwahahahahahahaha! I couldn't have said it better myself!
