CC and Clovis

Our Kiddos

The fur child, Clovis, and CC, the college girl.

I love these pictures even though they are grainy and were taken at night and do not meet my self imposed standards for posting on the blog. I am posting them anyway.

Clovis always seems to have a Garfield like frown on his face for the camera. He is the sweetest cat we have ever had and we are totally devoted to him.

CC is home from college, for the summer, but is still taking online classes. They are a tiny bit jealous of each other.
Have I ever mentioned that this beautiful young lady weighed two pounds when she was born? I look at her now and cannot believe it and I am so grateful she is healthy and is such a thoughtful and kind person.

We are resting today and getting ready for estate sales and garage sales tomorrow. I am very excited because I sold a painting recently, for a very nice amount, on consignment. Maybe my thrifting habit will begin to pay for itself.

It rained last night, thanks be to God and we awoke to a temperature of 68 degrees, which was lovely.

Have a wonderful weekend my friends.

WHAT DO YOU HAVE PLANNED?

  1. How wonderful to have your daughter home for the summer. If just one of my girls is gone for the day I feel like I am missing an arm. My oldest is rarely around as she is in nursing school and works but we do see her when she comes in at night.

  8. Cute pics and I am glad someone got rain. All we had was the noise and no rain. Your cat reminds me of Rusty except he had long hair. Have fun at the sales.

  9. 68 degrees? ACK it is still 90-ish around here.

Your CC is gorgeous -- what a blessing. Enjoy having her home for the summer, although that brings its own challenges, doesn't it? :-)

Your cat is hilarious -- he does indeed look ticked off about something. Very grumpy!

My girls are both home till the wedding in 2 weeks; they are bonding again, and also (0f course) doing some squabbling; that's what sisters do.

Have a great weekend with Clovis and CC... find some amazing bargains!

  10. You are becoming the estate sale Queen! I am going to a vintage motorcycle show tomorrow. Don't be too jealous now. I'll be thinking of you at the estate sales while I'm listening to guys comparing engines and who has the best paint job. Yawn.

Yes it's raining here too. Nice change from the heat... though the rain does keep customers away.....shame!
