Butterfly bush, a hybrid hydrangea, and a clematis are all in our flower garden.
Joe and I will be away for a time for a family funeral.
My sweet uncle has gone to heaven and his body is being buried beside my grandmother in the mountains that he loved.
Y'all have a lovely weekend.

Our condolences for your loss. The purple flowers seem to be appropriate for this time.

ReplyDeleteAll your purple flowers are beautiful. Is that a Jackmanii Clematis?
I love purple flowers too! Yours look beautiful. We have some hydrageas and butterfly bushes in our yard, but no clematis. I'd love to plant some. I have an empty trellis just waiting for something to be planted on it too! My sympathies go out to you and your family regarding the passing of your uncle.

ReplyDeleteI have come to love with a passion purple flowers in the garden. And I didn't always. Maybe my new love for it ties in with the philosophy of "when I am old I will wear purple." In the garden and on my back!

ReplyDeleteI love these purple flowers. Beautiful. I caught up a bit with your posts, this morning. Busy days lately! I saw the road wash out. We used to have this happen a lot, when we lived in the back pasture at the farm.
Enjoyed seeing your posts.
How appropriate to show us photos of purple, the color of royalty, today when your uncle is now with the King.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and prayers sweet friend.
