Taking the camera outside.
I do not remember the brilliant blogger who told us about about safflower seed not being attractive to squirrels. But we thank you and so do our birds. Two days after we made the switch the squirrels were gone.
A praying mantis feeding in the White Indian Hawthorne.
A succulent trailing over the front steps rock.
It actually rained this evening and it's going to be in the low 70's all day tomorrow.
Woohoo
How is the weather where you are?
may joy and peace surround you always
Olive
Hi Olive, Your pictures are beautiful! My succulents are barely hanging on. We are having a bad storm right now but we are expecting cooler weather for the weekend.

I love these pictures and we need rain so badly. I am hoping maybe tomorrow and Saturday we will get some.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos....just gorgeous!!!

It was thirty degrees last night - it is not expected to get quite that cool tonight.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos - especially like the photos of your succulent.
Lovely photos! Those ARE beautiful succulents. We have showers and cool temps. Lovin' it!
ReplyDeleteOlive, your photographs are stunning! We need rain, we got a sprinkle today, first in so long, waiting for a soaker!
ReplyDeleteGreat pics and thanks for the bird seed tip:@)
ReplyDeleteToday will be the high of 60 degrees! We need some rain. What gorgeous pictures, and glad that tip worked, I would not have known that either.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are always awesome. I loved these but particularly the one with the little statue in it. I have lots of little statues like this scattered in different parts of the garden. Hope you have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteLovin' your outdoor photos. I'm glad you got rain. The Atlanta area is still in drought conditions and according to the morning news, watering bans have started. :(
ReplyDeleteThankfully, the weather is a bit cooler.
Hope you have a great weekend,
Babs
This is so beautiful, Olive! We need some rain so badly as our state is on fire - literally!
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Hi Olive
ReplyDeleteYour images are beautiful, you just wouldn't see that little guy if you wouldn't have said something!
It has been very cool here... actually cold and damp at night.
Not ready to give summer up yet...

ReplyDeleteThat little red bird is beautiful. So glad you've managed to discourage the squirrels. They can be a bit of a pain.
