Birds in 2011

The bird images of 2011 were all taken in the garden of the yellow house.
They bring us much joy.

The hummingbirds steal the show, I realize, but all the birds are beautiful, special, and welcomed by us. Taking photos of the hummers builds character by the way, so if you need some more character just wait out some hummers and start snapping.

may joy and peace surround you

  17. Hi, there. I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your photos here, both of the birds and flowers. What an interesting, happy blog you have.
I came over from ""The Boston Lady out of curiosity, about Clovis. I thought Clovis might be a very large dog.I have a very large ginger coloured cat who looks abit like Clovis.
Does Clovis not like other cats?
    Cheers!

  20. @Brenda, my cat, Clovis is so attached to me and so spoiled I fear for any cat we would add to the household. He is jealous of our daughter but he is gentle with her.
