What do you do with five minutes of sunshine?
Snap a few images of the living room just to enjoy that rare sun. Remember we have the Mini Wee's and Cindy Lou Who who is basically in the holy terror stage of kitten hood.
The house is blissfully upside down.
Cindy Lou is trying to kill this ivy.
Can you see the sleeping kitten? Just behind the green chair.
She only appears innocent.
These are Shelley's pillows. He sleeps on down pillows for goodness sake.
No, we do not spoil our fur babies.
This is a Creepy Freak.
The floors and tables are covered with them. They are creepily cool.
Until you step on one.
Here is the wee jumping bean. She can move across the room, by jumping, without touching the floor. Taking a photo of her and Shelley is proving to be difficult.
With your help, in the last post, Joe and I have decided to leave the Montbretia in the flower garden.
Thank You

aww, so sweet. a sleeping kitten/kat love those perfect moments. enjoy! ( :
ReplyDeleteLove your pictures Olive. Kitty looks so innocent and peaceful, sleeping behind that green chair. Wonder what she's dreaming about?
ReplyDeleteSunshine and warm here (80 degrees). Love the photos, especially that last one. How cute is that!
ReplyDeleteYou have such an interesting house. Love your stuff. The dogs rule here too.
ReplyDeleteCindy Lou has me thinking back to one kitten we had that would run up one side of the Living Room draperies, bounce across the valance and then run down the other side. things were in shreds. but so many fun memories!
ReplyDeleteAre those wooden darning things?? The two white wooden?? rounded triangle shape objects sitting on top of the book??
ReplyDeleteI think they are some kind of finials but I really do not know. They were a birthday gift.
DeleteYou have a very busy household! Love the last picture of that cute kitty.
ReplyDeleteIt's sunny and 80 here today.
Hello Kitty!... (you too Olive!)... everything looks so pretty... especially Cindy Lou in that last photo of her... she is so beautiful!... xoxo Julie Marie
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the sun when you can! We had about one hour today, Mother Nature's being stingy here in the Mid Atlantic the beginning of true summer:@)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots, Olive. I love that last contemplative shot.
ReplyDeleteYour home looks so pretty with the sun shining in. I love the first photo!
ReplyDeleteYour beautiful photos don't give a hint of disorder!!

I have been trying to fit in my walk in the 5 minutes of sunshine we've been getting - if that. Where is our sunny, hot summer where the flowers need to be watered?
ReplyDeleteAw, cute kitty! We haven't had much sunshine this summer and one of our bushes fell over because the soil is so soft from rain. I'm craving sunshine!!
ReplyDeleteI will vouch for you - it was almost exactly five minutes of sun - just enough for me to paint a tool caddy. I love the views of your home - wish mine was somewhere near as elegant. Of course, Cindy Lou may have some say in that!
ReplyDeleteOh sounds like things are exciting at your house! I can relate only because I have a WILD Boston Terrier that likes to race through the house every now and then when he feels a burst of adrenaline in him. It's quite hysterical to watch him. I think having pets just keeps us on our toes, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had a bit of sun so we had the chance to see more of your sweet home! So many interesting details to look at. I love the last picture of your kitty, it's just beautiful (and yes, they are little acrobats!).
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
Love a wee bit of sunshine and thinking about your house with happy, hopping kittens!
ReplyDeleteYou have such a lovely home...I wish we had a wee less bit of sun here lately!
ReplyDeleteSitting here listening to the rain again and laughing at your sleeping kitten. My two foster kittens have torn my house to shreds. It was easier to take the living room drapes down than keep fighting the climbing war! When they sleep, I whisper.
ReplyDeleteOlive, you took such lovely pictures of your beautiful home. The fringe on the drapes made me sigh!
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun times there ! :)
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love seeing the difference sunshine makes in a room. Light in a room, on a wall is so fascinating as it changes throughout the day and I think I'm more aware of it now than I used to be. Your mirror is lovely and of course Cindy Lou is a beauty, a charmer. Little changes she makes in the decor are worth it.
ReplyDeleteMy, oh my, Olive. I can so relate.. just last week I rescued a little, itty-bitty kitten outside my office. She is now residing in my son's old bedroom while we try to get her acclimated to our house and other two cats. Apparently, she is very much like your Cindy Lou Who sounds - rambunctious to the core.. jumps (no, leaps) on everything that moves! She's a beauty, though - makes life full, don't you think?
ReplyDeleteOh dear here in Missouri we have had a gorgeous last week not real hot and wonderful sunshine I have enjoyed sitting outside for coffee every morning and watering my flowers
ReplyDeleteOur HOT weather will be here just all of a sudden
love seeing your kittens picture, I have a rescue cat cat now named him Shirley LOL before I knew he wasn't a Shirley
You are going to make me run out and get a kitty now. I can't get enough of Cindy Lou Who. Have a beautiful relaxing weekend. If that is possible at the moment.
ReplyDeleteLove your cute kitty, and my favorite name Cindy Lou Who, "who was no more than two". Yes, I'm a big fan.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your 4th of July!
Hugs,
Patti
What a lucky baby! Your pictures are lovely. Happy 4th.
ReplyDeleteSo glad that the antics of kitties grace your house once again. Is there still mutual love between Cindy and Shelley? "Soft kitty, small kitty, little ball of fur...." Ann
ReplyDeleteAfter many days of rain, we were blessed with a beautiful sunshiney day for celebrating the 4th. Love your kitty. Have a wonderful weekend Olive
