I hope you, my peeps, do not mind if I show you what The Talented B and I have in our booth at Ridge Antiques. I am over the moon about this turquoise tole tray. B painted the sweet chair and recovered the seat.
Then the find of all finds, by B, is a vintage laundry basket.
It is filled now with old frames. You do not know how badly I want to bring this home with me.
But I am currently paying for a trip to Korea for CC. We are booking that flight today.
Kiddos come first.
Shucks.
Come see us if you are near Ridge Spring, South Carolina at Ridge Antiques on Highway 23.
Ask for The Broome Closet booth.
If you enjoy primitives the store has plenty of them.

If I weren't so far away. I'd run down and grab that laundry cart. Wouldn't that look fun on a porch with some flowers in it. Or maybe I could even use it for laundry? Have fun with the booth.
ReplyDeleteLove that tray! I am crying over that wire basket too! Love what you did with your watering can!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could go to the Ridge - love that laundry basket and the tray. CC is so brave and poised! Good luck to her!

ReplyDeleteNo room for the laundry basket but a great tray. Love the color!
ReplyDeleteHow I'd love to go! I would snap up that laundry basket in a second. But yes, the kid comes first. It's hard being responsible when good stuff like that is around. Ann

So pretty! Wish I could come to your booth.
ReplyDeleteOlive,
ReplyDeleteyour booth looks amazing! That is a gorgeous color on the tray! When my friend and I had our store, we sold every one of those vintage wire laundry baskets. There are so many uses for them. We had a piece of glass cut and put on one to use as a side table, lots of fun. You've inspired me, my booth is looking pretty empty right now, got to get with it!
Rebecca
Gorgeous tray! I'd want to keep the laundry basket, too. Love it!
ReplyDeleteOlive,
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a great place to shop. Love the tray and laundry basket!
I miss having a store to buy for! Isn't it great that you get to own all these lovelies, if only for a little while? How exciting for CC to take a trip to Korea.

ReplyDeleteHonestly, I hope that CC has a Wonderful time traveling. Take Care :-)
I wish you were a day trip away and I would be stopping in for a look, see, buy! The vintage laundry basket is quite the find . . . and I like the Tole tray too! ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful tray! I think I have that same chair only I didn't paint it. I just changed the seat. If it is still in my booth in a few months I may take it out and paint it, but I wanted to see how it did stained, since it was in such good shape.
ReplyDeleteYou have some wonderful goodies in your booth!!! LOVE that tray....such a beautiful color :o)
