Open House in Ridge Spring, South Carolina, last Sunday, was a wonderful success.
The street was full of people.
The town markets the event well.
Ridge Antiques, where our two booths are, was busy.
We had a wide assortment of food and wine.
Chocolate wine too.
The Talented B serves it every year.
Warning: Many images to follow
This rusty sleigh of mine sold right away.
Mary Ann's cabinet is the center of the first room and is not for sale I am sad to say.
The primitive farm table the food is on had been sold.
Mary Ann convinced the young couple to leave it on hold until after Open House.
These images are from our window booth.
I am totally gone over the chippy blue mantel.
Thanks to all who stopped by.

What a beautiful shop Olive! How I would have loved being there for your open house. I love going to open houses in shops like this. I love the energy of so many lovers of vintage all in one place.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Friday my friend.
Hugs...
It was such a beautiful day with so many people strolling through the shops -eating, talking and shopping. The Ridge knows how to throw a party.

Olive,
ReplyDeletelooks like it was a fun day! There are some incredible things there! To funny, I have that very gold velvet and cane chair! My BF and I had gone to an auction looking for stuff for our shop, got there right as it was ending. Most everyone had gone and all the stuff that had not sold was stacked on the patio and we were told we could have whatever we wanted. That chair was in the back calling my name! It had rained, it was wet and pretty gross looking, my BF said no way but I took it for me. Not so crazy about the gold but love the cane and the shape. It dried and looks no worse for the bath! Someday would like to get it recovered but for now, it's still in all it's gold velvet glory!

What gorgeous, gorgeous images for us today. My goodness, I would have snapped up your sleigh in no time at all! Chocolate wine?! Oh my goodness me, it just gets better and better. What a treat. Take care.
