Morning Primrose

Because my house is full of stinky dorm laundry.

Because  chaos reigns here.

Because learning a new computer and photo editing program at the same time is too much.

Because it is cold and raining outside and may be very cold where you are.

Let's look at last weeks sunny explosion of morning primrose in the garden.

Dianthus is in the background.

I planted one of these pink flowers two years ago.

Now I must have five hundred.

If only interest on savings accounts could do that.

  10. How wonderful that flowers multiply! So VERY pretty... what's new about the computer that you don't get? Did you go from windows to mac?

  11. True, but no worries - the flowers are beautiful and bountiful xx

  12. I had those same flowers - I was told they were primrose. And they multiplied so rapidly that I couldn't believe it. That's great until I decided to pull them out. I couldn't get rid of them. But, finally, I got them all out. I was making new flowerbeds and they were a lot smaller. But, they were pretty.

  13. Well, they sure are pretty even if they do like to multiply! (Glad there are no snakes on this post).

  14. Unlike Pam above, i was hoping to see Ms. Rat Snake in the primroses! Did you start with a plant or seeds? Do they need sun or shade? Does Shelley eat them? My Scout has dug up almost all of my over one hundred ginger lily roots and ate them in one year. This is a wonderful reminder of what we should be seeing instead of stuck indoors with the chill and rain. Though I will not complain about rain.
