Re your 'comments' statement, I hope mine is not like finding unexpected chocolates down the back of a sofa...
ReplyDeleteI love old pews too. I worked in a church recently which had schoolboy graffiti carved in them - from about 1620!
I love to see old churches too and I love architectural pieces. Great church steeple. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteI agree that old buildings and churches are very inspirational....so much history!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.

I love old buildings! When hubs and I go on vacation I think I take more pictures of old buildings and lighthouses than anything.
ReplyDeleteHey there, you Wild Olive you, thanks for coming to the party...you were "fashionably" late. So glad you joined in. You know how much I love your churches. I think that's how I found you!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend,
love you bunches,
Debra
The grain and age and character of those pews are inspiring! The lines of the steeple are, as well.
ReplyDeleteWe have our Chickie home for the weekend, just like you all have yours. I don't think I ever saw a bigger smile on her face than when I picked her up yesterday! Fun.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Those pews look like hundreds of years old. Fabulous pictures, Olive!

Love these pictures, Olive..the well-worn pews are just charming! We clearly like the same kind of photos...:)
ReplyDeleteThrow in some voices singing "The Old Rugged Cross" and I think that would be church in Heaven.
