The living room was rearranged, last weekend, because it had to
accommodate a large number of people.
accommodate a large number of people.
Extra chairs were brought from upstairs for our teens to use.
This petite rocker might have to stay right here for a spell.
It is usually in our guestroom.
We also pulled this bench into service.
And my favorite chippy green chair.
It was terrific to see all the occasional pieces of furniture put to use for our teen weekend.
Most of those shells, in the basket, have been given to me by strangers at garage sales.
When I express a love for shells folks usually tell me I can have them free of charge.
It is refreshing.
That generosity.

Hey my glittered little friend!
ReplyDeleteI loved reading about how you
opened your hearts and home to
this sweet church group! Clovis's
reaction was a lot like our dog,
Gracie's, when E had her Christmas
craft party! I bet the girls fell in love
with your darling house. And the
cookies.....oh my!

ReplyDeleteOh for the love of garage sales. I fear they are the only place left to get really good deals. Our thrifts stores have become so expensive. Have yours?

The rocker is great, and so is the green chippy chair. My kid's desk chairs came from garage sales, and my grandkids are using them now.
