Ghosts, candy corn and pumpkins have found
their way to the coffee table.
The rather ghostly appearance of the sofa is thanks to Shelley Puppy.
He thinks all sofas belong to him so I threw this old chenille spread over it.
Ghost candles
Ghost cupcakes that I will never make.
I wonder how long the candy will last in the glass jar?

So fun Olive!... and I am happy to see you like Halloween too... (I get sooo tired of some people telling me Halloween is an evil thing... gee, have they ever watched The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown???)...and I could eat that whole jar of Autumn mix!... hope you are feeling much better, xoxo Julie Marie
ReplyDeleteCute vignette and oh yes, Bailey loves all my sofas, too.
ReplyDeleteLove the vignette and the coffee table! I wouldn't dare put candy on mine. :0)
ReplyDeleteI'm laughing a the "cupcakes I'll never make". I'm going to do a reality check on all the recipes I've saved and clear them out. I don't think those cute ghost candles have you going too far over on the dark side. lol ~ Maureen
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I hate to eat candy corn, but love to decorate with it! I also make cookies that look like candy corn!
ReplyDeleteBoo to You!
Olive it looks spooktacular! Now pass over some of that candy corn;)
ReplyDeleteSo cute, Olive! That candy jar would be empty very quickly around here! I really like your coffee table, have we seen it before?
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
Perfect touches.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on the
cupcake front....they
wouldn't last a day : )
Happy Monday!
xo Suzanne
I love your coffee table...It looks great with all your things. That bowl of candy corn looks so nice on the table with the magazines. I could curl up on that sofa with a magazine, your book and that jar of candy and be quite content.
ReplyDeleteI hobbled out to the shed far in the back yard yesterday and surveyed the situation to see if I could see my plastic containers full of Halloween stuff. Couldn't even locate them, so hobbled back in...
ReplyDeleteBrenda
I'm a candy corn nut, Olive. Don't tempt me. lol
ReplyDeleteVery cute seasonal display. That candy corn wouldn't last long if I was around. There's something about it that I can't stop at just one...handful that is!
ReplyDeleteMary Alice
The candy corn is making me hungry! I love the glass jar you have them in. :) My coffee table is transforming lately too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute Halloween vignette Olive! I don't like candy corn so you don't have to worry about me eating it but I sure could eat me some of those cupcakes though!! Hope you're feeling better, Gail
ReplyDeleteWell, if it was here, maybe a day or two. I love the white as a backdrop to all the color in your vignette - see Shelley has done you a favor and added to the Halloween decor. Ann
ReplyDeleteLooks great, orange is such a fun color! Well, lucky Shelly getting to lay on a chenille bedspread:@)
ReplyDeleteThe candy corn wouldn't last long here - I love candy corn!! I think the white couch is perfect for Halloween - a ghost couch!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite way to eat candy corn is to mix it with dry roasted peanuts...YUM!

I love candy corn and I love it on your coffee table in the pretty glass jar!
ReplyDeleteLooks good! Especially the candy corn - irresistible! Won't Shelly get into it?
ReplyDeleteNo not in a jar with a lid.
DeleteOhhhhhhhhh! We love Halloween!!!! She was holding back until October 1st....now maybe she will have an excuse to do it sooner!!! I really like your ghost sofa! How creative of Shelley to help you with that ;) Now if Clovis is as smart as I think he is (he is a cat after all) he will lay in wait UNDER the sheet for Shelley....MOL Sorry but you wouldn't expect anything less from me would you?!?!?!
ReplyDeletePurrs!

How cute! Love your ghostly sofa and the cute coffee table arrangement. I always like the look of candy corn, but never acquired a taste for it, so I would stay a looong time at my house.
ReplyDeleteBabs
boooo...to that ghostly sofa...hahhaa...you are smart to cover it and let the doggie have it. ;))
ReplyDeleteI love candy corn with a passion so that jar would be empty before long if I came to see you. lol
hugs, bj
Love your little Halloween arrangement Olive. I really did like your comment about cupcakes that you will never make! I'm just like this. I always tear all these recipes out of magazines and keep, knowing that I will probably never get round to trying them. Hope you're feeling a little better today my friend. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteHalloween looks great in your living room Olive. I love the ghosty candles.
ReplyDeleteA fun Halloween makeover. I'm loving the bowl of candy corn, colorful and yummy. Thanks for stopping by, Laura
ReplyDeleteYipeeee my favorite time of year! I love Halloween and your decor looks fab!
ReplyDeleteOlive, I remember candy corn from being a kid. It was pure sugar. I like your decorations. Gosh, I keep our chairs and sofa covered too. easier to clean. Smiles, Susie
ReplyDeleteLove the white background with the touches of Halloween! Candy corn always speaks ghosts and goblins to me!
ReplyDeleteCute Halloween touches. I'm jealous of your candy corn. I already ate my black and orange peanut butter candy, so I'm trying not to buy any more Halloween candy. It is so hard!
ReplyDeleteYou always have a funny way with words. Love you, girlie and hope you are feeling better. Love the white candle holder. I want! The photo of the candy corn is adorable.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the hug today. I needed it.
Love your ghostly sofa Olive! The candles are adorable too. Candy Corn is the quintessential candy of fall~ I love the look, but not the taste :)
ReplyDeleteI hope that you are feeling better!
ReplyDeleteLove your Halloween decor! I have been getting my pumkins and halloween stuff out too. I love this time of year...and if I had a jar of candy corn, they would last less than a day...my favorite!
