We found this serving board made from an old door,
this weekend, at a garage sale.
Joe spotted it first.
It has cute legs.
Chippy legs.
These would be easy to make but for $8.00 this was a good deal.
The pumpkin colored pitcher is a FTD container found
at a yard sale by my SIL.
The candles were .25 cents at an estate sale.
The new linen tea towel was $2.00 at an estate sale.
The candle sticks are Southern Living Home bought at the Rusty Gate
the consignment store I consign at.
Pumpkins will be finding their way on the table soon.

In Olive Out news we had house guests this weekend.
We went to a local arts and crafts fair and to Saturday garage sales. I cooked once.I did link to a couple of parties and did not comment a lot. Y'all should smack me. In a couple of hours I go see the general surgeon about my surgery.
Life glorious Life.

Very unique serving table - I like it! You have a good eye.
ReplyDeleteI love your thrifty dining table! I am a thrifter myself, so I decided to follow you on google+! Hugs, Penny

The minute I saw those candlesticks I loved them....and knew I hadn't seen them anywhere else. Love the board....WANT the candlesticks!! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteGreat finds at the garage sale! I love the color of the little pitcher. Fall colors are my favorite. I'm starting to get my fall decorations out little by little.

Love those candle sticks and LOOOOVE that cute liitle board with legs! I have just the thing to make one! Joe sent for a sample kitchen cabinet door so all I have to do is add legs! Thanks for the inspiration. XO, Pinky
ReplyDeleteThe little serving board is so cute. Isn't making vignettes fun?
ReplyDeleteThinking about you Olive♥
ReplyDeleteWho ever thought to make the door into a serving board was genius. I love that orange FTD pitcher. I keep seeing cute vases at the thrift store and flip them over thinking they are going to be one of the vintage manufacturers that I look for, but then they have a FTD label on them. They have good taste!
ReplyDeleteOlive your finds are brilliant. Love the serving table with the quirky legs. Hope all was good news when you saw the surgeon. A little prayer going up from me too.
ReplyDeleteOlive, I love all your finds and the prices they were found at! Hang in there Olive and I hope the surgeon gives you some encouraging news. Whether large or small, any potential surgery is stressful as far as apprehension go. Will be thinking of you. Ann
ReplyDeleteThe candlesticks look edible.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to you Olive!... I will say extra prayers for you... your old cutting table is just precious!... xoxo Julie Marie
ReplyDeleteI like your cute little serving board! We had a cooler day yesterday and I was amazed at what was on the curb for trash day today:@)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute serving board and adorable candle holders! Hoping everything went well today!
ReplyDeleteYou are the queen of finds. The candle sticks remind me of a candlestick my mother in law gave me. It was made from a porch baluster. Apparently the fellow had candle holders from the whole balustrade available, and she only bought me the one.
ReplyDeleteGreat shopping at a favorite store - a host of garage sales.
ReplyDeleteOh Olive I hope all went well with the surgeon. Your bargains amaze me. I love the tray and the orange pitcher...but I've never met a pitcher I didn't like!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! I hope you are doing okay. Miss you. If you ever want to sell the board, let me know. Love the crusty legs too!
ReplyDeleteGreat little serving tray. Love all your good finds.
ReplyDeleteI thanks for visiting 20 north Ora.
