A wall candelabra I bought to resell.
It is wicked to photograph not on a wall.
Joe wants to keep this mirror.
I am inclined to sell it.
It resides in the bathroom floor and leans on the wall.
Shelley Puppy loves to bark at himself in it. It is heavy.
I probably should not have lifted it...oops.
My favorite tole piece.
This little floral has good fall color and has joined the parade of fall items on the bar.

In Olive Out news I am doing quite well three days post op.
I will be resting here at the yellow house this week.
Might be a swell time for thrift store visits.
I can drive starting today.

The tole metal pieces are really pretty, do you know what period they are from?
ReplyDeleteThe main things, so pleased that you are making good progress, but take care♥
DeleteI think the wall candelabra may be from the 1960's. The mirror is not terribly vintage. The last one is from the a later period maybe the 1940's. I got that last piece from an out building at an estate sale. That is where I usually find good pieces. I really am no expert but am drawn to these metal flowers.
DeleteThose are really pretty.
ReplyDeleteHi Olive... love your tole pieces, especially the little pot with the Autumn colored flowers... and so cute that Shelley looks at himself in the mirror!... glad to hear you are feeling good!... xoxo Julie Marie

They are pretty. So glad you're on the mend,Olive, but take care - especially lifting things you shouldn't be. xoxo
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are feeling well, Olive. No lifting! I had no idea that the term for that was Tole. Lovely all of the pieces, but I have to agree with you on your favorite. It is the most unique in my opinion. Thrifting, not lifting! Ann
ReplyDeleteOh Olive whassup with you? I've been gone too long and lost touch with what's going on. I'll have to keep reading.....Anyhoo I'm so glad you're on the mend!
ReplyDeleteI'm gaga for old tole! Love that candelabra and the tole flower arrangement! The chippier and shabbier the better! *winks* Vanna
I'll sure be glad when I can drive and Judy can stop having to drive me around. Glad you're doing okay.
