White Pimento Cheese

White Pimento Cheese

Shred two 8 oz bars of white Vermont Sharp Cheddar Cheese.
Add 4 oz of drained chopped diced pimentos.
Add one to two teaspoons of sugar.
Add black pepper as desired.
Stir in enough mayonnaise to bring it all together (I use less than 1/2 cup).

♦♦♦
I do not add salt as the cheddar is already salty.

Serve with crackers or on bread.
You can also top your grilled hamburger with this pimento cheese.

Enjoy

  4. MMMmmmm. I've never had this version, but know already that I would have seconds.

I have company coming next weekend, and the husband won't touch anything with cheese - not even cream cheese! He's from NY, so maybe that has something to do with it - HA! Just kidding. I may still fix this for everyone else and let him have a plain baloney sandwich!

  18. Yum! Pimento cheese is one of my absolute favorite foods, whether it's white or orange. I love the look of the white cheddar and pimentos. Gosh, now I'm hungry for some. I like Vermont brand cheddar, too.
Hope you're recovering from your surgery and getting back to a normal routine. Have a great Sunday.
