I had no choice but to look for a new chest for our clothes.
The one we were using was borrowed and had to be returned.
I found aqua sunshine for our dark cave of an office which we are using for a bedroom.
It is the color of a Tiffany Box which you can see there in the middle of the chest.
It is close quarters in this office/bedroom but I like the large drawers.
Sorry for the dark images the 1970's paneling makes for difficult photographs but good sleep.
CC and I are making the most of her last few days home from college.
We saw a movie at the two dollar theatre last night and it looked
just as good as a ten dollar movie to me.
It has been storming all day and some areas here are actually flooded.
We are reading books and catching up on laundry.
What are you up to?
happy weekend
Olive

Hi Olive... love your new chest of drawers, especially the color!... it is hot hot here, and I am anxious for Autumn!... would love your cooler weather, minus the flooding... and settling in with a good book... what are you reading?... xoxo Julie Marie
ReplyDeleteOlive, that looks divine! And your time with CC sounds like time well spent! The dollar, or two-dollar theater is always a bargain and I always go there after my Christmas present gift certificates run out. I'm pretty good at stretching my movie dollars since we enjoy them so much. Precious time with your daughter.... Ann
ReplyDeleteTiffany Blue ~ that's always a winner! Your chest reminds me of one I had in my childhood bedroom. My niece has it now. I should suggest she paint it Tiffany Blue. ;-)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend........Sarah
I like that color! We went to see Diary Of A Whipy Kid today. It was surprisingly good for a kid's movie. At least we're past the Disney movies. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

ReplyDeleteOlive, I love the new dresser. Great color. I am glad you are enjoying your sweet kid while she's home. I usually get to go to the movies with my Angie...but this year we didn't get to...too busy. She's building a new house..so I'll get to be around her more as I am helping her paint all the rooms. xoxo, Susie

ReplyDeleteOlive, lovely just to spend time with your daughter. Our 17 year old grand daughter rang this morning - she's been on a college computing course in Birmingham all last week and decided on the spur of the moment to do a detour on the way home and spend until Tuesday with us.
