My resolve not to have cake evaporated.
For anyone who may not know Red Velvet Cake is really a chocolate cake in disguise.
It is difficult to resist.

Did you know that traditionally, red velvet was a chocolate beet cake? Or at least that is what I red today.
ReplyDeleteI made chocolate beet cake today using beets that I grew in my garden. I am waiting for it to cool so I can spread it with peanut butter frosting.
BTW that is a gorgeous butter dish!!!
I would almost give up my life for Red Velvet Cake!!!! Love it! In fact...I am going to add this to my list of foods I want for my last meal when I am on death row. What? Well you never know and I just want to be prepared. Got nothing going this weekend except church on Sunday as well as my grandson's ballgame. At least it won't be 100 degrees like it was today.
