The child's chair is a little beat up and Joe rolled his eyes when he looked at it.
I told him we are not going to be sitting in it now are we?
For now it is tucked to the left of the stone fireplace.
I can easily see it on the buffet holding china.

ReplyDeleteSweetness...
ReplyDeleteLove it - love Joe (: He's lucky you didn't want to hang it on the wall with a potted plant on the seat!
ReplyDeleteFabulous, we have some old school chairs that we use around this house in a similar way so I love this.
ReplyDeleteIt was just too cute to pass up. It can be put into many little vignettes. Smiles, xo, Susie
ReplyDeleteIs that Joe's time out chair? You are finding so many fun things while at the estate sales. I need to get my butt out there.

ReplyDeleteCute little chair! Funny you should show the fireplace, I have a cord of wood being delivered tomorrow... Fall's coming:@)
ReplyDeleteOh, why do they roll their eyes? Love the chair.
ReplyDeleteOh Olive I have one just like it and I love mine!
ReplyDeletehi Olive, I love your little chair and you found just the right place for it. I had a very old one, an antique my husband's mom gave us. It's an old school house chair like we used when I was a child. I used that chair for everything, a footstool, when I needed to sit low on the floor for cleaning. When my grandson was old enough to use it we gave it to him. I just bet your little chair will be used too!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the weekend.

I just became your newest follower! I read your detailed bio and love that you have included your details rather than highlights. Now I feel I know you so much better! Now, about that chair. Mine is painted a lovely light green and distressed and supporting the waste basket in the laundry room. Such a lover of children's chairs!!! Can't wait to see what else you're up to! Oh, and if you get a chance, I would love to have you drop by my blog for a bit of poking around. Sit a spell and I will bring you sweet tea and biscuits!
