I had been looking at breadboards online but I could not afford them.
Can we agree they are pricey?
This one is made in Hungary with wood from an old building.
It was at the Williams Sonoma Outlet and was 75% off. I paid $40.00.
It was the most expensive item I purchased on our trip to North Georgia.
The regular price was $159.00
Joe found this odd little galvanized piece at an estate sale
and it appears to be some kind of baking pan.
The breadboard makes for a textured back drop for vignettes on this table.
The roses are from our garden.
joy and peace
Olive
Your breadboard is beautiful and what a great price! Love it as a backdrop too.

I think your old galvanized piece is a vintage steamed pudding mold...just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh I like it. Love your photos.
ReplyDeleteOh I love it. They really are so expensive and yours is stunning. Love your vignette. Makes a perfect backdrop and the new pan is great too. Love it all. Thanks so much for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteLove the bread board, those outlets can be fun to shop it. There is a Pottery Barn outlet on the way to our cottage, I can always find something. Like the B & W pics today, Laura
ReplyDeletePerfect vignette! I need to replace my split breadboard and can't bring myself to pay the prices asked! Yours is very good deal. Love the metal pot and lid! ~ Maureen
ReplyDeleteLove the film noir photos. Nice breadboard, Olive.
ReplyDeleteThat bread board is beautiful, Olive! You got a great deal on it at the outlet!
ReplyDeleteI like the black and white photos Olive, they accentuate the textures of all items in the picture. Who knew a bread board would be so pricey, but you definitely got a great deal on this one. Ann
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see the black and white photos; it's something I've been meaning fiddle with some more.
ReplyDeleteI was anxious to see what others might say about the little pot. I think it was for steamed puddings, too. On a rack in another closed pot. Lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteYes, breadboards are pricey for sure. Darn I was just at the outlet mall and didn't even go in WS. Great price on that board and nice vignette.
ReplyDeleteThat breadboard is wonderful...the vignette just goes together so well!
ReplyDeleteI agree, bread boards are super expensive! Love your photos in this post! :)

ReplyDeleteI have never been in a WS store. Great find on the beadboard. Now, Olive I loved microbiology. ;)

Oh wow, good Sherry. I do not remember any of it. I was working night shift and going to an eight am class. What I know I learned working in a hospital.
DeleteWhat a great looking bread board. Sweet little galvanized pot too!

Susan and Bentley
Wow Olive, this makes a lovely vignette! Love the board.
ReplyDeleteThe breadboard is wonderful Olive. The galvanized pot is interesting. I don't think I've seen anything like it. I am sure the images in the rose book are gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful vignette!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! But I still can't get over that bread boards cost as much as they do. Unbelievable, isn't it. But it sure is a nice one. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love your bread board! This is the 20th time in two weeks I have wished there was a WS outlet nearby :) Love your vignette with your sweet pot holding roses on your rose book!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great find Olive! I love breadboards too and I like you can't afford most of them I find!! The vignette you created using your breadboard is just beautiful. Enjoy your day, Gail
ReplyDeleteHi Olive...this is a beautiful find!
ReplyDeleteI have to put one of these on my wishlist!
Great breadboard. Wow! I haven't priced bread boards for some time, didn't know that they were that expense.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever tried making your own?
Cute vignette!!
No I am crafty but not in that way:}
DeleteYou have changed the look again! I cannot keep up with all the changes here. I also like really old bread boards and still use one of my mother in laws, they are so much better quality than many new ones!
ReplyDeleteLove all your finds. Great black and white photos!
ReplyDeleteJody
Hi, Olive, Oh, I do love your bread board. I won a small one a few months back and love it so much, I use it all the time for lots of different things.
ReplyDeleteLove the olden lid that J found, too.
Your photos are wonderful.
Love all your ideas. I keep coming back for more :)
ReplyDeleteSomehow you had disappeared from my list! Glad I found you again! Love the black and white photos! You are so good!
