Limoges Platter

A Limoges Platter with the gold edge chipping off.
It is large and I can see a holiday turkey on it.
That is if Joe cooks it.
Wink wink.

I am drawn to large platters and had been looking for a platter
 with a turkey on it.
This French one will be a mighty fine substitute.
I paid next to nothing for it.
I bought it from the same lady I bought the door Serving Tray from.

Have you started planning for Thanksgiving already?

  7. Everyone needs at least one good sized platter and that one looks a perfect size. Are those wooden shoe stretchers on the plate, I have not seen any like those for years.

  13. Wow! It's a biggie! And hard to beat a classic style like that.

Have *I* started thinking about Thanksgiving yet? Which one? Last year's or the one coming up? I never got around to thinking about spring or summer. And yet every season, every holiday, comes on like a freight train and flies past leaving me to wonder what happened.
