French Bust

I found this French bust two weeks ago at an estate sale.
The sale was at a house on the banks of the Savannah River.
The owner was obviously a fan of French objects.
They sold some French chairs that were gorgeous.
Too bad I was driving the Mini.

I bought one of these rosaries there and she had literally dozens for sale.

This bust had some broken plaster at it's waist so the estate agent
discounted the price for me to fifteen dollars.
 I repaired it easily.

I am enjoying a mostly neutral color scheme in the living room.
Not that it will stay that way.

  1. I don't think I would ever run across a beauty like that here in Northern Minnesota. But I will hope. She's gorgeous. Love the rosaries too.

  2. Lucky you to have your own beautiful Marie Antoinette, and only $15 - how do you do it? She looks especially fetching with the rosaries draped around her. I like the white pumpkin too.
