Joe and I basically filled the pick up truck with Shabby Chic items, on Saturday, from one persons moving sale. Not shown are five Simply Shabby Chic (Target) tablecloths that I have already ironed and have ready to sell. I am keeping two of them. I also washed and ironed six white drapery panels. I may keep those as well. I am an awful seller.
I ironed for three hours yesterday, cooked garlic bread and bought dessert for twenty teenage boys (Joe helped), and fell in bed exhausted. Four hundred volunteers assisted in feeding, housing, and transporting three hundred kids to our 180 Weekend at church. One of those kiddos was my nephew and we are extremely proud of him.
joy and peace

Wow, Olive! That was quite a score! I'm like you. I always buy what I like and want to keep everything! I bet those boys really appreciated all that garlic bread and dessert you provided!
ReplyDeleteLook at your loot! Ironing for three hours does not sound like fun to me, but then I can't remember the last time I drug the ironing board out. We're a wrinkly family here!
