This my second vintage Easter basket. Don't tell CC but this basket is for her. She is coming home tomorrow for spring break. I went with hot pinks because I also have this vintage tablecloth that has wonderful spring colors in it.
I had no idea what to do with all that pink filler so I piled it into the glass hurricanes.

I love the chairs with their more traditional look as a backdrop for the whimsical foreground...
ReplyDeleteReal live chocolate!!! It all looks very festive. Can't wait for Easter to get here so I can quit feeling guilty about eating my son's Easter candy (which I always replace and then eat again - it's a vicious cycle). You scored on the Easter baskets this year!
ReplyDeleteI love that fact your making your daughter a Easter basket! Lucky girl. Have fun you 2!
ReplyDeleteSo cute and I love that it is vintage.
ReplyDeleteShe will be thrilled - pink for a girl, lovely.
ReplyDeleteI go to Aldi and Lidl too - they have some great buys.

ReplyDeleteCC will love her basket! Very cute! Have a great day!!
ReplyDeleteHi Olive. I just know that CC is going to love that pretty little Easter Basket! I really do love that sweet little bunny that you picked up at the garage sale. It is so unusual and a lovely colour as well. You really do have a good eye for these things.
ReplyDeleteCute basket, love the pretty chocolate foil wrapped bunnies:@)
ReplyDeleteHi Olive. What a darling Easter basket and I'm sure your CC will love it. Chocolate! :) Your little bunny is adorable and I would certainly keep him. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
I'm sure CC will get excited over her Easter basket.

I love how cute it looks all filled with pink paper shredding and foil eggs. Don't Easter baskets take you back to your childhood? I know they do for me! I adored Easter just for the candy alone!! LOL! It was always a tradition that every basket had a chocolate bunny in it too and of course, I've passed that down to my kids. Your daughter will feel like a kid again when you give it to her!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the hot pink, Olive. I know CC will love it.
ReplyDeleteThe pink Easter grass is so pretty and fresh. With boys around, we have green, blue, yellow grass with eggs that look like sports balls or camo pattern. EEeewwww!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love both of your vintage baskets. I think I'll go in search of one tomorrow. The pink grass really makes it cute...oh and the chocolate! Happy Spring!
ReplyDeleteThat's mighty pink. You're making me want to look around for the basket a dear old lady made for my girls, forty years ago. The basket was old then, but it's still on a shelf.
ReplyDeleteAll that pink is just so festive looking! I found a leftover bag of the very same pink filler in my basement the other day. Now I just need to find a cute basket to fill with it!
ReplyDeleteLucky CC to have such a sweet Mama!!
