Still shots in the garden.
The Hollyhock is now blooming and I will get those images up soon. I have issues with real time photos. Come back and you will see a lovely pink Hollyhock. I am also having issues with finding our professional images on my computer. I have lost them....oops. Must contact my photographer friend.
Stonecrop Angelina and another sedum with a succulent. All taken from other places in the garden.
We are having a cold and rainy day here. I have walked Shelley Puppy three times in the cold drizzle and he is an absolute hoot and a half. Clovis is not giving him an inch. Keeping Shelley out of the flower garden is a job but he is catching on. I have only lost two Ginger Lilies. A tiny matter compared to the joy of a sweet puppy. If he gets into the Hydrangea Lab we will have to talk.

Olive
I could just live outside this time of year with all our beautiful plants and flowers. I was outside on my patio all day yesterday
ReplyDeletedid you go to those 55 yard sales ?
Janice
I went to quite a lot but because two turned out to be designer sales I spent my money there and then stopped. One designer had a warehouse full of cottage items. I was thrilled with her.I bought a new matelasse Queen spread and two shams made in Poland for a song. I am keeping them. Some items I do sell to fund further adventures.
DeleteYour garden photos are so pretty Olive!... love your Hen and Chicks and I can't wait to see your Hollyhocks blooming!... kisses to Shelley and Clovis... xoxo Julie Marie
ReplyDeleteLove the terracotta pot with the Angelina in it and, also, the last photo. Is that a spider or a daddy long legs that I see on that flower? The Gerbera is beautiful. I can see that Shelley puppy has captured a large piece of your heart my friend!
ReplyDeleteDaddylong legs. Those do not give me the willies.
DeleteI always feel like I've just come from a visit with an old friend when I leave your blog. The garden photo's are refreshing, even with a dreaded spider!
ReplyDeleteOhhh, I love that second shot most of all!
ReplyDeleteI don't do real time so well either!! Love the wet succulents...
ReplyDeleteI love the hen and chicks. Richard from My Old Historic House.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, Olive! I just made a pot of succulents, there are so many fascinating ones out there! Do you leave yours out over the winter (your winter is much milder than ours), I am thinking I will need to bring the pot in.
ReplyDeleteShelley is so darn cute, makes me want another dog! ;-D
XO,
Jane
Mine stay out all winter. At the yellow house we have little space for houseplants. I will bring the aloe inside.
DeleteYour garden shots are beautiful. I think I need to plant a pot of succulents.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are having so much fun with Shelley!
Is your succulent a hen and chicks? It's really pretty!
ReplyDeleteYes I think so, I got them before I started my garden journal.
DeleteYour camera lenses are magical :) and so is the photographer :).
ReplyDeleteUnikorna is absolutely right. Your pictures are as succulent as the succulents! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteNice shots Olive! My favorite is the 3rd picture. It's so alive! =)
ReplyDeleteYou captured the beauties in your garden so nicely! I would not be a happy camper either if a dog...or bunny...got to my hydrangeas.
ReplyDeleteMary Alice
I love sedums too. Your plants look gorgeous Olive. We've had heavy showers here too, but it's a lovely time of the year when everything is just coming out. Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteGotta love hen and chicks. Wonder how they came up with that name? I've had trouble lately finding the photos I've just loaded onto my computer. Sometimes I'm clenching my teeth and looking everywhere on my computer, and then suddenly up they'll pop. This is driving me nuts. I have no idea what changed.
ReplyDeleteBrenda
Is the orange daisy a Gerbera? it is a lovely shot - the background enhances it beautifully.
ReplyDeleteYes Rosemary and it gives me many many blossoms.
DeleteGreat shots!!That spider has the longest legs...I have been playing with succulents all morning...fun times!!

DeleteLovin' that third one, it's neat the way the white light surrounds every bit of the plant:@)
ReplyDeleteYou took great photos of your garden! Hope the puppy stays away from the lab! We don't want to have to have 'that talk'! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteMy goodness you're up to my eyeballs with all kinds of critters! I admire your patience with your furry family. I would be just a fair weather friend. Hold on!
