At this point I never see the blue and white ever leaving this three drawer chest. Christmas decor just gets crammed in! Maybe it is the Southern way. More is better. More butter, more bread, more blue and white, more Christmas decor. You get it. What do you want more of in decor?
The snowmen were purchased from a Lenox outlet. What chubby monkeys they are...love em. One is shy and is hiding in the shadows and got cropped.
This Santa appears one eyed...Ha! Maybe his beard needs a trim. The Santa ornaments came from an estate sale months ago.

I think it all looks good tucked in amongst the blue and white. That one eyed Santa maybe a pirate.

There's a reason blue lights are always on the multi-colored sets and this just shows why. Red and blue...does it get any better.
ReplyDeleteDebbie
P.S. Go take a look at Laura's blue with Christmas reds at White Spray Paint. You girls are kindred spirits.
This may be posted twice, but I am having computer issues today so here it goes again.

amaryllis somewhere in
your vignette! Wouldn't
that be gorgeous?? Hope
your week is off to a
wonderful start!

The one-eyed Santa makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteI really love this theme. Santa and the Chinese porcelain. A sweet vignette. Jane
ReplyDeleteLove this vignette Olive. That little snowman is sooo cute! I don't think I've ever seen the Lenox snowmen. That's what I do with a lot of Christmas decor-just tuck it into what is already there. Of course, I'm a Southern gal too. laurie
ReplyDeleteLove it Olive, your "chubby monkeys" are cute:@)
ReplyDeleteYou've managed to make blue and white very christmassy! Pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove your snowmen! I like when you can add some holiday decor right in with your everyday decor and this looks great together!
ReplyDeleteI love how you decked out your blue and white...the Santas and snowmen are the perfect compliment to it.
ReplyDeleteOlive, I absolutely love your blue/white porcelain! It is classic and beautiful. I have a large Santa whose beard was always covering up his eye and he looked weird. I finally got out the glue gun and tamed his moustache. Much better now! Hope you're enjoying the season- I'm almost done decorating! :-) Sue
