This Chuckle Head has been renamed.
We have named her Gremmie because she is more Gremlin like than I can convey.
The name Cindy Lou did not fit her rambustious spirit.
Here Gremmie is biting Shelley. This goes on all the time.
Shelley never hurts her.
These photos speak for themselves.
CC leaves for South Korea to go to university on the 28th.
The Chuckle Heads will miss her terribly. I can't think about it yet.
We are having a dessert and wine going away party for her this weekend.
joy and peace
Olive
Those cat shots are hilarious! I know you will miss your daughter. Have a good time at her going away party!

Ok, not only are your pets absolutely adorable but the name of your post caught my eye and I had to pop over and say hello. My name is Shelley...yes spelled with an "e" and I was just telling my kids over the weekend that I spent $300 on my first car - which was a 1974 Gremlin!!! And even funnier - I called "him" Gremmie! So, I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to comment! Cheers to Gremmie!

Shelley, I well remember the Gremlins from the 70's. What a fun story.
Deletethe fur kids are so cute and I know they must keep everyone entertained constantly. CC is such a cutie, I know you'll miss her even more than her furry brother and sister!
ReplyDeleteI love calicos, but I think I said that already. CC will have a wonderful time and we can't wait for you to tell us all about it, from behind your pile of tissues at first.
ReplyDeleteSo cute and looks so much like one of my old cats.
ReplyDeleteAwww.....they're all so cute! I bet you are savoring these last few weeks before your daughter leaves. I guess you will have to make adjustments to contact each other with the time change too. At least y'all can talk to each other whenever you want to.
ReplyDeleteThat cat really has does have attitude - a real character.
ReplyDeleteIt is very stressful when your young ones go off having adventures in remote parts of the world.
My nephew went to South Korea and he thought that it was absolutely wonderful, he had a great time.
That is good to know Rosemary.
DeleteOlive, I can barely stand to see my daughter leave next week for college 100 miles away. She is such a positive and happy kid. She brightens my day.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photographs of CC and Gremmie (formerly known as Cindy Lou). Wish CC luck for the upcoming year for me. I know she will do you proud. Give Shelley an extra treat for putting up with the kitty antics.
ReplyDeleteAll great photos Olive, love the one under the table! Enjoy the party:@)
ReplyDeleteLove the upside down photo. Great shot. She has the devil in her just like Audrey. You can see it in their eyes.
ReplyDeleteOlive, what a cute kitty. My cat is a complete dud. All she does is sleep and eat.
ReplyDeleteOooh how adorable Olive!... I just want to kiss them both... love the photo of kitty upside down... they are such a huge part of our lives... xoxo Julie Marie
ReplyDeleteThey are so cute... I will miss CC when she leaves......
ReplyDeleteLove, Mona
Those cats look adorably feisty! The eyes tell the story . . .
ReplyDeleteEnjoy these last few weeks before your CC leaves for South Korea . . . what an experience this will be for her!
I like the pic of the kitty looking like she is pushing up the chair . . .
Joy and Peace to you too Olive . . .
The photo of Gremmie upside down under the chair is so cute. She just wants to play with you! Have a wonderful time at the going away party this weekend. This is an amazing opportunity for her!
ReplyDeleteOh, your pets are just darling! Love the snap of your kitty laying upside down under the wicker chair! So cute! I wish your daughter good luck and prayers for mama as she goes.
ReplyDeletebe a sweetie,
Shelia :)
So hard to see your daughter leave...XOXO
ReplyDeleteYour chuckle heads are so cute. I especially like the one of Gremmie upside down under the chair.
ReplyDeleteGive my best wishes to CC as she departs for South Korea.

ReplyDeleteKaren
This is such a sweet post in so many ways. :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness - so much personality in those photos of the kitten. Enjoy your daughter these next few days and enjoy the party :-)
ReplyDeleteLook at those eyes - what a charmer...I know you will miss her terribly. :(
ReplyDeleteMy fave is the upside down cat under the chair! So cute. I always enjoy your pictures.
ReplyDeleteXOXO,
Meredith
I've pretty much renamed my two new kittens The Barbarians. Gremlins would work for their names, too! Love the upside down looking shot almost as much as the one of CC giving kisses. Shelly is a good boy for putting up with so much!
ReplyDeleteThose Calico's are Gremlins for sure!
ReplyDeleteNeither your real baby nor your kitty baby are fraidy-cats. Aren't you glad they are both adventurous?
ReplyDeleteGremmie is adorable! Love, love that face.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck to your dear daughter as she starts a wonderful adventure!
xo
Claudia
I love Gremmie! And it's so good to see her and Shelley "get along". I see a lot of mischief with those two.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, the 28th. Departure day. New adventure for CC and for you and Joe. It's very hard to tell them to spread their wings when they are flying so far away to distant, foreign lands. The fact that she wants to do this means you gave her the resources (love, encouragement, support, love again) to chase her dreams. Good for CC and good for you, mom, I understand how scary/hard/emotional this must be for you. Ann
Love the photos of the pets. Aren't they gorgeous! Gosh, South Korea is such a long way away. You will have to do a lot of Skyping. You've obviously done such a good job in bringing CC up that she has the confidence to take this step, and I wish her well.
ReplyDeleteThis is my kind of cat... ornery and sweet! The best kind! I'll be thinking of you and your daughter. You are a brave one SK is so far away!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou don't need my comments, you have so many! Just wanted you to tell CC that I'll be praying for her. Love the photo with her kissing the kitten. I can't believe how much she's grown-the kitten and of course, CC is there! The wire basket is my favorite! I want them, but I always sell mine and they're gone before I can get them in good!
ReplyDeleteLOVE Gremmie! Congratulations! CC is adorable, as always, love her too, and of course we mustn't forget Shelley!
ReplyDeleteI laughed out loud when I saw the photo of Gremmie under the table! Great name, it makes me want another kitty! Best of luck to CC :)
ReplyDeleteKitty-in-a-basket: adorable! (As is your daughter.)
ReplyDeletewhat wonderful pictures of all your babies! Each one made me smile and say "awe, so cute!"
ReplyDeleteI wish CC all the luck on her adventure, what an amazing journey to be on!
xo Cindy
