Hi Olive, I just read your feature at Susan's, and have begun following your posts. I can see we have several things in common - the thrifting, the gardening, and, although I am not an RN, one of my antiquing partners, my sister, is a recently retired RN at a college, so I totally get you and the overdrive commitment you had in your work. I look forward to reading more of your posts. Rita C at Panoply
Just read it! So good to get to know a little more about you. It's awesome that you got to retire with 25 years of service at such a young age. Having your booths and buying and selling goodies fits you so well.
You are blessed with a wonderful husband and daughter. :)
Olive, It was so much fun getting to know you better and be introduced to your wonderful blog. Thank you for doing spotlight. It was a pleasure to read about you. i look forward to visiting your blog again. We RN's have to stick together LOL! Kris
Olive, I just thanked Susan for featuring you !! I am going to make sure I do not miss your posts. It's been some time. I was glad to see CC photo. she is a beauty...just like you. blessings, xoxo,Susie
Oh!!! How have I missed you all this long? I am so glad Susan featured you today. I will be your newest follower as soon as I stop typing and I will put you on my sidebar so I don't miss a single post. I worked in a hospital for several years and hubby is still a chaplain at the same hospital. Love what I see here and I will be back to poke around when life settles down a bit- we have a new baby granddaughter that is keeping me kind of busy right now. SO glad to find you! xo Diana
Great feature at Must Love Junk! I don't know how in the world I ever missed it, but I had never read your Hold Everything Lightly stories. I just read every single one. So interesting getting to know more of the personal things about you. I bet there are a million stories in between all these...a lot more you could write about. :-)
Don't know how I've missed so many of your posts. Something happened with Goggle and I lost my reading feed. Hope you are feeling better. Really do miss your great finds. I miss The Rusty Gate:( and so sad that so much has closed around here. Your yard and flowers are beautiful as usual. I know you are enjoying your gardening. Hope CC is doing well, oh yeah and Joe.
Olive, I really enjoyed reading your feature on Saturday Spotlight. Your husband sounds like mine..both being interested in our blogs. Mine helps me edit and make sure it makes sense. :)..and read comments. Thanks for sharing your life and family.
Off to see it! I love this feature. Susan is great! And I'm looking forward to hearing more about you! :)
