The Madison Market in Madison, Georgia had just had a delivery of pumpkins.
The pumpkins were not arranged but sure were pretty piled up like that.
The Madison Market is full of European and American antiques.
I did not take inside images as it was very dark.
A vintage bike greeted us out front.
This is a tremendous fairy garden.
Fairy city perhaps?
General Sherman did not burn the city of Madison in his march through the south. Therefore the city has an abundance of stately southern homes and darling cottages. Madison has one of the largest historic districts in the state of Georgia. The downtown is splendid.
If you are near Madison do visit.
This was my first visit thanks to The Talented B.
I will be going back soon.

ReplyDeleteI used to go to Madison several times a year to shop. It is such a lovely town with wonderful shops. The antique mall where I spent the most money closed and moved out of town. Seeing this makes me want to go there again. Beautiful photography.
ReplyDeleteHello Olive,
ReplyDeleteMy daughters roomie from college lives there and we are thinking about a visit during the Christmas holidays...she tells us that we will love it.
Blessings,
Linda

I have heard that Madison is gorgeous. I'd love to check it out someday. That store looked like it was fun to shop in.
ReplyDeleteLove all the different colours of the pumpkins - I don't think they could have been co-ordinated better if someone had sat up all night, putting them together. Sounds a lovely market to visit.
ReplyDeleteOlive,
ReplyDeleteThe tumbled pumpkins are beautiful. Looks like a great place to visit.
Loved seeing Gremmie's activity and hearing about her shenanigans. Our one cat loved a big old primitive bowl. (it's kinda too big to eat out of, and old) He rediscovered it as an adult and crammed his body into it. I'd have no problem washing it and eating from it again, and actually we had popcorn out of it recently.
I adore Madison! It's been a little while but we have driven up there just to spend some time on the weekends. It was my favorite part of the drive to Athens when I went to school there with the dinosaurs :-) Love the pumpkins and I know you had a wonderful time there. Best, Vicki
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful store! Love the pretty pumpkins too!
ReplyDeleteOlive, The booth looks so nice...I like the pile of pumpkins. The bike outside is great...would look cool in a garden. Hope you are enjoying autumn. xoxo,Susie
