Dresser Bits At Our Old House

The old house dresser this morning with the sun beaming on it.

Those perfumes are rendered useless because they are old.
I like the look of them, wearing them not so much.

The lamb is my baby toy.
That I still have it intact is somewhat amazing to me.

The weekend was far too short. CC and I had a beautiful time together. We nearly froze at the outlets as the windchill was in the teens and we spent very little money and mostly enjoyed each other. I found an interesting thrift store near the hotel. More on that later.

Here we are at one of the stores.
Image per CC and her IPod Touch.

I got so tickled at your comments about the previous trunk post.
I did not mean to leave you hanging.  I simply brought that trunk to the yellow house and Joe and I put it under the window seat. The acquisition of the trunk was the story in my view.

  4. I thought about y'all freezing there. Not a good place to shop when it is super cold. Glad y'all had fun despite the weather.

  5. Our old house dresser doesn't have such pretty stuff on it. How do you keep pockets full of keys, change, pocket knives, crumpled envelopes and assorted stuff off yours? I'd probably pay to know. Yours is lovely and a delight to look at.

  6. Great photos, you have been experimenting again. I am going to pick your brains again my friend. Where do you write your posts and add photos, as have you noticed no photo is showing for my posts in blog rolls and I thought you might know why?

your dresser top is lovely! So wonderful to have things from our childhood, your lamb is adorable!
I still have the stuffed puppy and picture of me with it on Santa's lap from when I was about 3 or 4.

  10. What a wonderful picture of you and CC! You are both so cute! It sounds like you had a great time. I'm sure it was good for both of you to have time together and laugh a lot. It really is the perfect kind of nourishment.
The photo of the dresser top is very pretty. I have a love of old perfume bottles. My mother collected them and passed a few on to me. I love them.
I also think the trunk in your previous post is fabulous. I like where you have it. And if Clovis can use the footstool it all works out.
I hope it is warming up in your area. With all the wonderful weather we've all had, we've forgotten it's only February. It is chilly and damp here today with rain on the way.
    Have a great day. XOXO
