Love the Pyrex with the shrooms - I remember my grandma had that kind of faux fruit - it took me several times to catch on that it was fake. :)
ReplyDeleteThey are all great finds! I'm looking for some faux veggies to trim a wreath that hangs on my garden shed. ~ Maureen
ReplyDeleteLove to find pyrex. Gives me a thrill. Cute Buddha. As for the fruit my mom had some in our den but I am most surprised they are not all dusty from the years. Did you wash them?
ReplyDeleteElaine, they were dusty and smelled of cigarettes. So I let them sit outside in the sun and rain for about four days and that fixed them.
DeleteGreat finds here. The Buddha is so cute. I am sure you had alot of fun browsing and finding your treasures.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I love the Buddha except for his nipples... they kinda freak me out a little bit. LOL
ReplyDeleteLove the pyrex and it's pattern! The fruit is WONDERFUL, looks good enough to "EAT"... Not quite sure of the BUDDHA THOUGH(too much makeup).I would have to paint him a solid color, and somehow try to keep his shawl the color it is(hmmmm, too much, BUT I LOVED his SHAWL)...
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend,
Hugs,
Donna
You find such eclectic mixes of things Olive ! I love it all and you seem to love so many things, which is lovely. I know that you will find homes for them all and put things together and make them look great.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend. XXXX
Hi Olive! I love your Pyrex bowls! That's some pretty fruit you found too.
ReplyDeleteHave a Happy Memorial Day weekend.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
My daughter would wish she had found those bowls. Good job, they are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteAll of your finds are great! I do love the fruit and I've not had pyrex bowls in years!! Cool!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Nancy
I agree with Diane about the nipples. A little strange, but other a cute guy. I think faux fruit is cool. Do you remember those big old glass grape clusters that people had on their coffee tables in the 70's. I think those are coming back too!
ReplyDeletePyrex is timeless. I'm a little nuts, I'd probably paint the fruit. lol
ReplyDeleteTell Pam I have three sets of the glass grape clusters now! So crazy.
ReplyDeleteI love the faux fruit. I have several sets in my house
I have just spent the last hour reading your blog. Lovely.
I always love finding Pyrex bowls...great finds!
ReplyDeleteOlive, The budda made me smile. I like the pyrex bowls. Have a great weekend. Smiles,xo, Susie
ReplyDeletePyrex is always a good find! I use my mixing bowls every day!
