Absolutely no need for faux spider webs at our old house.
Our industrious eight legged fellows have created a huge display in some of the shed windows.
Our spiders are harmless. Joe has had this house for a coon’s age and has never been bitten.
Are we ready for Halloween or what?
There was a cabinet door in front of this window and when I moved it I could hear the webs tearing away from the window.
Eek.
grace surrounds us

Olive, I was up in my attic yesterday and felt the webs catch my hair and then could hear them tearing - eeek, is right. Nice pictures. Ann
ReplyDelete"Perfect Setting"... and NO "Arachnophobia"!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs to you,

Wow, those are amazing Olive! We try not to bother the spiders too much, either...
ReplyDeleteWonderful. Olive. In Gloucestershire, near here, we have the UK's largest spiderweb, which stretches an entire barn and is about 150 feet long. Apparently, spiderweb makes better bullet-proof vests than kevlar.
ReplyDeleteWow, those are the thickest webs I have seen.
ReplyDeleteOooh how perfect for Halloween! Great photos of them!... xoxo Julie Marie
ReplyDeleteEeeeek is right Olive! I've never seen a web like that, but it does make a neat photo! Great H'ween decor! laurie
ReplyDeleteYou are one brave galoopa Olive. Just remember - it's all fun and games til somebody gets hurt! "Our spiders are harmless. Joe has had this house for a coon’s age and has never been bitten."

Nice webs. Creepy spiders. I can hear the sound of the webs in my mind. Thanks for that.
ReplyDeleteHope the rest of your day was great!
You are definitely ready for Halloween, my friend!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am the wicked witch of the North up here Olive...out every morning with my broom sweeping away the webs around the house. I know spiders eat bugs...but I hate those webs.
ReplyDeleteEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKK! Is an understatement. I hate those things. Well it sure goes with spirit of Halloween.
ReplyDeleteNow those are really heavy duty spider webs! Neat idea for a post!

Love those photos Olive, I knew a fellow who could move spider webs without breaking them, it was wonderful to see him carry them safely to a place where he knew people wouldn't be walking into them.
ReplyDelete~*~*I would have been scared!! ;) I tagged you on my blog post today!!!~*~* Hugs,Rachel ;)

Where we are having the most spiders and webs are in our mirrors on our trucks. We clean them out one day and they are back the next day. It's driving me crazy! LOL
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see I am not the only one who sees the beauty in them.
ReplyDeletedon't like spiders. you can keep the webs. rose
ReplyDeleteOMG I'm soooo creeped out! But in a weirdly good way.
