How is that for a title?
~♣~♣~♣~
I had way too much fun at an estate sale this weekend.
I went Friday and purchased a few pieces of pottery and promised myself I would not go back.
So.
I was going to an art show on Saturday except I could not find it.
I was very berry close to the estate sale.
Promise to myself broken like a stale saltine cracker.
~♣~♣~♣~
Most everything except the Persian rug (I wanted it too) and large furniture was one half off.
I bought a Quimper tea cup and saucer, black onyx Fenton urns, and best of all a large canvas transfer of a little girl holding two kittens.
The picture was difficult to photograph and the image does not do it justice. It is so pretty.
I almost forgot my nekkid man urn. Hehe he is nekkid I think!
I refashioned the dining table at the yellow house using the urns, an old brown bottle, and wrought iron pumpkin holder.

ReplyDeleteThose urns are gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. And the nekked man is very cool. Sort of looks like a greek god. Are you going back to the sale again today?
ReplyDeletePam-Saturday was the last day so I am done which is a good thing.

I just love that you spelled naked nekkid. I always say it just like that, and Tanner thinks I'm weird. But hey. I'm from the South. It doesn't come out of your bones!!!!
ReplyDeleteEstate sales are like a drug to me. Can. Not. Resist. I think about them all day. I daydream about being the first and only person at an amazing one where a 94 year old lady died and kept EVERYTHING....but her kids aren't really into that so they're just selling everything for a dollar. and I happen to have 500.00 to spend. How's that for TMI?! hahaha
*Giggle-snort* Yep, he's nekkid!
ReplyDeleteLoving the table top splendor...see you at the party!
love all of your treasures. i esp. love the picture of the little girl. rose
ReplyDeleteI love those black vases...perfect for Halloween!
