Sunday Prayer

Dear Lord help me to be compassionate, kind, humble, full of quiet strength, and discipline. Help me to be even tempered, content with second place, and quick to forgive an offense.

Help me to forgive as quickly and completely as you forgave me.

Help me to wear love as an all purpose garment. Let me never be without it.

May the peace of Christ keep me in tune with others, in step with others.

None of this going off and doing my own thing. And help me cultivate thankfulness. Let the Word of Christ-The Message-have the run of my house.
Amen

A prayer arranged by me from Colossians 3-The Message Bible

  6. I love that we can take the word of God and turn it into a prayer of our own ~ and soon it will become a declaration.
