The living room has gone a bit British.
We now have a Union Jack pouf for Joe's chair.
It is large and comfy and doubles as a seat if needed.
I ordered it from a flash sale and it could not be returned.
It was a tad scary but we like it.
Notices the cloches are different.
Clovis takes his bath on it frequently.
Let's not tell Joe okay?
I would like to thank Honey from @ 2805 blog for featuring my Bee In Flight post last Friday during her Potpourri Party. It was also syndicated on the BlogHer network.

ReplyDeleteHi Olive,
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, apologies for being absent lately ..... still figuring out my new computer and waiting for my photos etc. to be taken off of my old computer and put on my new one !!
.... and, I LOVE your new acquisition. Perfect for the Olympic Games !! We have had rain for weeks now but have been promised some warmer weather in the next coupe of days. I really hope that it improves for the Olympics.....I shall be keeping my fingers crossed.
..... and, I bet Clovis thought that all of his Christmas's had come at once !! That pouf is perfect for him. XXXX
Clovis passes perfectly as a proper British cat. Lovely montage.

I'm not sure what a flash sale is either, but looks like you made a great purchase.
ReplyDeleteI wanna pouf too!!!!

ReplyDeletelove your pouf looks like the family will enjoy it
i need a lesson on how to change my header in blogger
Well it looks right at home there in your living room and so does Clovis. He is just keeping it warm till the master comes home.
ReplyDeleteClovis always knows a good thing when he sees it. I love that little Pouf - didn't know they were called that. And what is a flash sale? Cheers Olive! Ann
ReplyDeleteI thought this was going to be a post about John Gray.
ReplyDeleteLove that "pouf" it is adorable....of course any think with the union jack on it is so cool right now...I just got a bag from Boden with the "jack" in hot pink....LOVE it :)
ReplyDeleteA pouf for Joe? Ha! You can hang that up. The real master of the house knows who it belongs to. I have an ugly recliner that was given to us that I'd like to get rid of. Nobody sits in it ---- except the cat. It's her chair. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteI wanna know what a flash sale is, too and how I can get in on one! You made a happy and pretty purchase, maybe there are more happy and pretty things out there waiting on the rest of us.
Oh, I forgot to say. I love your new bottle header, too! Really fresh looking.
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting a pouf ever since I saw how to make them on HGTV...that one is great! Nice to see Clovis enjoying it...I won't tell Joe! Have a great afternoon!!
ReplyDeleteFlash sales are held on sites such as One Kings Lane and Joss & Main. You must decide to buy quickly as items sell out fast and usually you cannot return an item.
DeleteThat looks very comfy, Olive! This sale sounds similar to the ones I frequent way too often at Decor Steals and Antique Farmhouse, too. No returns there either.
ReplyDeleteI love the Union Jack Pouf. It looks so comfy! I think your cat is so cute--looks just like one of our new kittens. Enjoyed your post!
ReplyDeleteLooks comfy to me too! Thanks for sharing at Potpourri Friday!
ReplyDeleteWell Clovis surely seems smitten-enjoy:@)
ReplyDeleteOlive - how fun! Two of my favorite things - orange tabby cat (reminds me of my cat Casey O'Toole that I had as a kid) and union jack!
ReplyDeleteClovis -keep on cleaning (we won't tell)!
Kelly
Clovis approves, evidently. I hope he is purring his own rendition of "God Save the Queen". :)
ReplyDeleteClovis looks so happy! (I won't tell!) Pretty cool poof. Your accidental potato looked pretty good too! :)
ReplyDeleteLove it but then I would!
ReplyDeleteLove your new pouf! What a comfy place for Clovis to take a bath. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd just like that...Poof...all hail the king...or queen!
ReplyDeleteDeb
I love your new British poof! I'm a sucker for anything English Olive : )
ReplyDeleteI'll try to comment again.....haven't been able to read your blog, maybe cause I haven't done Google +? Who knows. Those kind of things are not in my skill set!
