Plans shift here like a five speed Mustang I tell ya.
I was supposed to be processing goods for consignment stores,
ironing vintage linens, and making price tags.
None of that has happened this week.
Thanks a bundle to all of you for wishing me well (and praying) about my abdominal pain and headache. My ultrasound was today at 11 A.M. and the results are pending. I feel better but still have a headache and am not quite together yet.
I found the cross vase at the Catholic Thrift Store.
The roses were given to me by a sweet friend.
I have managed to wash and fold laundry and have plans to shift
our estate sale goods around in the morning.
I am not setting said plans in stone, that clearly is not wise.
I am thinking of that five speed Mustang.
may joy surround you

5 Speed Mustang - now you're talking...
ReplyDeleteMy brother had a Mustang when I was a teen. I think it was a 1975 and it was definitely a stick shift Tom.
DeleteKeep us updated, Olive!
ReplyDeleteOh, Olive, I guess I missed that post - I hope the report is positive and that you are back to one-hundred percent soon. Will pray.
ReplyDeleteI love that vase and sure hope you feel like yourself soon.
ReplyDeleteOlive, the vase is brilliant and I pray you are well soon with good test results.

Oh what beautiful roses and the cross vase is beautiful. Hope you are better soon. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteYou need to take it easy till you find out what is wrong, dont want to go busting a gut now. The photos are beautiful but the reason behind them is even more special.
ReplyDeleteGOD keep you safe from these popup storms and in good health. Praying no surgery is needed.
Feel better soon! Love the vase, and of course the roses.
ReplyDeletePretty pics, hope you feel better soon:@)
ReplyDeleteThe vase is so unusual. It appears to have been a jar in a previous life. Best wishes.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos. Feel better soon. Hugs, Deb
ReplyDeleteThe vase is actually once a Catholic candle holder, used and lit in church for blessings. I have been given dozens over the years from my mother-in-law who is a devout Catholic. They often come in bright turquoise blues and reds.
ReplyDeleteI do hope your results are good.
Chania
I am so sorry to hear you are not well. That is the worst waiting for test results. I have to take my daughter for some tests in a week. We are hoping for some good news. Feel better my friend.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear that you haven't been feeling well and I hope your test results will yield some answers. There must be something in the air as we spent all day at the ER with our daughter who was having lower abdominal pain! Feel better!!!
ReplyDeleteKat
Your vase brought a smile to my face. Sorry that you have been feeling cruddy. Hoping the test comes back perfectly normal.
ReplyDeletefeel better soon, missy!!!
ReplyDeleteGoodness...I've got to get out more. I had no idea you were having health issues. Praying for good results. The last thing I would want you to do is strip you gears.
ReplyDeleteThat vase is beautiful in it's simplicity.
Deb
I hope you are feeling better and that the tests results come back with good results.
ReplyDeleteGet well! ~ Maureen
ReplyDeleteBefore we had children, we had an orange 1970 Mach 1 Mustang with a 5 speed and I LOVED racing it over the bridge in our Iowa hometown!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the memory!!!

Praying for good results. I too make plans knowing that they cannot be chiseled in stone -- flexibility is a good thing :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings!

Olive, positive thoughts being sent your way. Waiting for test results is so unnerving. Glad you are keeping busy, but don't overdo it. That cross vase is beautiful. Feel better. Ann
ReplyDeleteI am praying for you! Good luck! I love the vase - perhaps it was originally a candle holder? It has the shape of a Blessed Sacrament candle.
ReplyDeleteFeel better. Hope you get good results. Pictures are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteSo hope you are feeling better and you get good results from the doctor. Hope the pretty red roses brighten your day just a little. Will be thinking of you, Laura
