Vintage Oval Frame

Joe says our walls are a rotating gallery of my found art.
He could be right.
I took down the praying man picture and put up the gilded oval frame.

You can see how chippy the frame is. I paid one dollar for it.
Should I put something on it to hold it together?

I put this oil painting in it. This oil is dated 1951. It is older than me...woot.

What do you think? Should I Keep it? Sell it?

My friend Fancy and I are leaving for North Georgia for our quick trip on Thursday.
I may be scarce for a couple of days. We are going to explore North Georgia and the Pottery Barn Outlet.

    1. Beth, maybe on etsy or ebay. Or an estate sale. They were not uncommon in the 1950's and 60's.

  6. Pretty oil, Olive! Hope you and Fancy have a great time at the PB Outlet. I keep saying I'm going over there. I haven't been in a long time. It's probably just as well, I'd be buying everything in sight. Have fun!
