Sunday Prayer

Dear Lord, help me have the strength to stick it out over the long haul.

Not the grim strength of gritting your teeth but the glory-strength you give.

The strength that endures the unendurable and spills over into joy. Thank you Father for making me strong enough to take part in everything bright and beautiful that you have for me.

Prayer adapted by me from The Message Bible from Colossians 1:9-12

joy and peace
