Blooming Now

I know many of you are in the midst of a snow storm and I am thinking of you and praying for your safety. Here are my pansies blooming now in various containers in our back yard. I have these positioned so that we can see them from the kitchen windows. Make your views wonderful and washing dishes becomes much easier.

Thank for your kind comments about my terrible week. I have adjusted my attitude, prayed, breathed, and realized I am not in control even when I grasp for control all the time.

happy gardening

  8. I love pansies. They have faces. Sorry about your week, I've been blog-absent and missed seeing about it. However, as I write this I'm looking at your favorite quote of the month, and it speaks the truth. Ann

  11. Olive,
The pansies are stunning. We were in DC a couple of weeks ago and were gratified to see pansies and even 2 rose bushes blooming!
The snow missed us, but it is supposed to be in single digits tonight.
God bless you as you deal with what you deal with. Sending you a hug.

  16. Thanks for some pretty color today. It's been cloudy and dreary here for days and they are predicting a snowstorm for here tomorrow. We are not suppose to be in the heart of it. But if we get a couple of inches and the wind comes up like they say, we will have a blizzard.

  17. Your pansies are so pretty. I had plans to get some this week, but never got around to it. I stopped at WalMart and checked to see if they had any and not one was to be found. I'll go to the garden center next week. Have a great week.

  20. Wasn't today's weather just beautiful? Still a little chilly, but not bad. Your pansies are very pretty. Glad that you're able to put some of your negative feelings into perspective. It seems when we turn things "over" to God, things have a way of working out. I've had to do that before and it feels like a huge burden has been lifted off of me.

  27. No snow here, but no pansies either. I tried to buy some today but the store said they wouldn't have them in stock for another 2 weeks. :( Yours are lovely, and I'm glad they cheer you up when you've had such a bad week. I hope things are better this coming week!

  31. Thank you for sharing your blooms...I'm certain it will be several weeks before I have any of my own. When I feel overwhelmed by life in general my mantra becomes the Serenity Prayer. It somehow helps to say it to myself. Here's hoping this week is wonderful.
