Clovis is not happy with his mama today. He was not happy with me yesterday either. Such is the life for this kitty mama. He saw the vet, again, today. He had an injection for arthritis. We traveled to the old house to see the vet. Clovis has lost weight which is alarming.
I will be traveling to North Georgia to the mountains to see CC on Friday. Joe will be home with the fight club. That also means I will be going to Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, Williams Sonoma Outlets and some antique malls. I will attempt photos with my iPhone.
joy and peace

Those critters really keep us on our toes don't they? I hope Clovis feels better soon.....
ReplyDeleteBoth are such cutie pies :o)
Have a safe and fun trip!

We are having the same dynamic recently between our big dog and one of our cats. The cat is acting more out of sorts too and I hope nothing is wrong. Poor guy. He is only six so my daughter is very worried. On another note enjoy your time with CC. Shop for me too!!
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's good to get away from the kids. Have fun shopping!
ReplyDeletePets are just like kids, aren't they?! Poor ole Clovis. She just isn't the youngster she used to be. I hate to hear about animals with arthritis. The last dog we had got it bad before he passed away. He used to be SO active and then it started slowing him down. Glad that you took steps to have Clovis treated for it though. That should help. Have fun shopping! You won't be too far from me then.
ReplyDeletePoor Clovis - arthritis is horrible and Shelley doesn't know what to make of it. Have a good trip on Friday. Lovely to meet up with CC - have a great time together.

ReplyDeleteOh I want to go with you to the Williams Sonoma Outlet. I have always wanted the pan Ruffoni Braiser
I always touch them when I go into the city to the Williams Sonoma store .
Oh Clovis, You know the first rule of Fight Club is, "we don't talk about fight club". You need some chill time - don't let that pup get to you! He just wants to be friends... Have fun with CC and all your other stops. Ann
ReplyDeleteOh, I think that is just what dad needs....a day with the kiddies!!
ReplyDeleteAww, I hope Clovis feels better very soon, and enjoy your time away!

You must know about one of my favorite places, Architectural Salvage in Louisville. On Broadway. Have a great time in NC.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your little break away, Olive. It will be lovely for you to see CC again! Poor Clovis - it's a great pity that they don't get on together. I bet you will get some real 'finds' when you're away!! Safe travels my friend.
ReplyDeleteDitto what Kat said, and so glad you take such good care of Clovis.
ReplyDeletePoor Clovis...I know how that goes...when we introduced our dog to our 2 kitties so many years ago...we had similar reactions...all of our sweet babies are in heaven now...hopefully getting along! Have fun with CC and all your shopping!! Have a great week!!
ReplyDeletePoor Clovis. You would think they would have settled into a routine of just ignoring each other by now, but cats seem to be pretty sensitive. Have fun with C.C..
ReplyDeletePoor sweet Clovis, he wants things like they were pre Shelley! My Greta gets along good with Boots and I am glad since Boots is 13!
ReplyDeleteAw, hope things calm down between the furry kids. Have a great trip and I look forward to seeing the pics:@)
ReplyDeleteThey look so angelic~ it's hard to believe it's fight club there :) Enjoy your outlet shopping!
ReplyDeleteDear Clovis. Of course he starts it. He's wonderfully Clovis that way.
ReplyDeleteGod bless him. I shall say a prayer for him. Give him my love, please.
You know first rule of "Fight Club" is that you never talk about "Fight Club" so you are in trouble already. I hope Clovis starts to do better. One day that pup will settle down but its going to be a couple of years.
ReplyDeleteOh, you'll have fun! Lots of great places to shop! Sweet hugs!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your little break away and let daddy sort the kids out!
ReplyDeletePoor Clovis. :-( Happy traveling and shopping to you!
ReplyDeletePoor Clovis...I can sympathize with the arthritis.
ReplyDeleteHave a good trip and a wonderful time with CC.
Sorry to hear for Clovis buddy hoping for his health to recover soon. Yes, the idea of having them separated as much as possible with be a nice little truce for Clovis. :D Got my eye on your next posts.
ReplyDeletePoor Clovis...animals don't always the best decision (something to do with being permanent three-year-olds I think).
ReplyDeleteHave fun with CC...
hahaha fight club!! I hope you have a good weekend woih CC. and the outlet mall...I have been wanting to go and hinting to dear husband. my daughter went last weekend..she and I used to do things together before she got 4 children and a husband.not in that order.... enjoy your mother/daughter time. it goes by fast..
ReplyDeletelove, Mona
Love your pets! One of my kitties has arthritis too. (He's also overweight which doesn't help). I've had him on Kitty Cosequin for awhile and it seems to really help with his mobility. I hope he feels better soon and you enjoy your trip!
